The Hampton Inn and Suites Jacksonville Airport hotel in Florida is just a quarter mile east of the Jacksonville International Airport and the International Trade Port. We are located at the first major exit on I-95 South. We provide complimentary airport shuttle service and shuttle hours vary so contact the hotel directly. The hotel is within a half mile of Florida Interstate 95 with easy access to I-295. Anheuser-Busch, Coach Leather, Armor Holdings, Smurfit Stone, GE and Federal Express are among the nearby corporate neighbors. We are also within a half mile of River City Market Place, which we also provide complimentary transportation, a complex featuring restaurants, retail shops, office buildings, movie theatres and residential housing. Downtown is 20 minutes away and area beaches are only 30 minutes away. The hotel has all the modern amenities guests need to experience. All rooms feature a king bed or two queen beds, a work area with complimentary internet access, ergonomic desk chair, phone with complimentary local calls, refrigerator, coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Our studio suites have a more spacious work area, microwave, and sleeper sofa. Guest laundry is on premises, as well as a Suite Shop, open 24 hours, with travel items and assorted foods and beverages. Our guests will enjoy our free hot breakfast buffet daily. If you're in a hurry, grab one of our 'On the Run' Breakfast Bags. Guests have access to wireless Internet access in the lobby and public areas, coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours a day and a USA Today Monday-Friday. We feature an outdoor pool, whirlpool and fitness center. We have meeting and banquet rooms with 1152 square feet of space.

Pros:Bed was very comfortable. Room was really nice. Loved the refridge and microwave cabinet.
Cons:I had to leave at 4:30 am for airport before the breakfast, but I was able to have coffee. The tv remote did not work. Towels were rather thin, not like the Sheratons where I stayed the night before.
Pros:This hotel was very clean inside and out. No dust/mold/unpleasant odors etc. Beds were comfy. I was so surprised at how spacious our room was. I was more of a square shape vs the skinny long rooms with stuff packed in there at most hotels. The breakfast was absolutlet delicious! The first day the had southwestern omlettes that were really good along with all other kinds of breakfast foods. My daughter loved the waffle station where you made your own waffles and they also had fun toppings like whip cream, chocolate and cinnamon syrup. I also want to rave on the staff. Everyone washi friendly. Even the people sweeping up trash we nice and did not seem miserable. Was close to a lot of restaurants and close to the Jacksonville zoo. I would recommend the hotel to others and plan on staying here again on our next trip to Jacksonville

Cons:Shortly after arriving to our room, another guest entered our room with a different key. Once we had our keys rekeyed we weren't able to enter our room. The only item in our bathroom was a bar of soap. Also, our coffee was lukewarm in the morning. This was the worst experience with Hampton Inn Hotels. I expect better of this usually higher quality chain.
Pros:Nothing
Cons:Upon checking in the first room we went to the beds were leaning up against the wall. The second room we went to it smelled musty in mildewy, the fridge where we were putting our daughters medicine was dirty and mold in the shows in the corners. The final room we rested in was also dirty and mold on the shower. I've been staying almost exclusively at Hilton properties for over 20 years. For most of the time I've been a diamond member and this is the worst property that Hilton has put their name on.
