The place was really clean upon my arrival. Lady at the reception addressed me in English and we went along just fine. Reception closes for the night starting with 22. I was able to find free parking in the street, or one street away from the hotel for each night during my 3 nights stay. Neighbourhood looks good, feels safe
The room i received had an A/C fan with a wallmount control which was supposed to deliver the expected temperature. The night i arrived and the next day this A/C was sufficient for warming up the place - about 10 deg C during the day outside, while inside it felt like 19-20 deg C. I would command 24 degrees and i could feel the warm air, for hours. Next two days, something broke in the A/C as it would ventilate and never heat up the air, regardless on how i would command it/reset it. Room sensor said 22 altho i think was more like 19-20 deg C. I didn’t care much for this malfunction and preferred to sit like this next to having them attempting fixing. Note, I am a person that resists well to cold exposure and my expectations are well under the average. When i checked out i went telling the lady about the malfunction so they could fix it before other people get the room. Out of the sudden she did not speak English at all. Using google translate i showed her exactly what i meant. She kept on insisting that the heating couldn’t do more than 22 degrees and pulled a computer graphic showing how my room had just that. Then she went making remarks about me not being used to “normal” warmth and expecting more. I didn’t care which temperature the sensor was showing and if that was “normal”. What i know is the A/C first worked heating then simply stopped doing that and the room was cold. Staff not having the right attitude ! What if i did complain during my stay ?
