The water in the shower was hot.
Where to start.... they only have King or Full size beds and the full size beds are not comfortable at all. We arrived to check in at 10PM and asked for a crib for our room. When we got to the room it was extremely hot, so we turned the AC on right away. We waited over 30 minutes for the crib. The room never cooled off so I called from desk. They said that they had to reset something around 10:30PM and it would take 45 minutes to cool the room down. An hour and a half later the room still wasn’t cool at all. I then callEd the front desk again, they said they could give another room but it would also take 45 minutes to cool it off, so we stayed. The next day as we checked out, I asked to speak to the hotel manager. She came out in blue jeans and look more it the manager of a 7/11. She told me that the AC went out the day before and their engineers couldn’t fix it. They wouldn’t they tell you their AC wasn’t working when you checked in??? It’s Texas in August! The pool was also a disappointment. Our son loves to swim so we got up the next day and took him to swim. He 8 and like most 8 years old boys get dirty and would rather stink then take a shower. He said the pool was too dirty to swim in! If an 8 year old boy tells you a pool is too dirty to swim in, it’s pretty bad. The manager told me that they didn’t have anybody to clean it that day. This hotel should not be called a Sheraton at all. It should be more like the Econolodge. Hands down the worse hotel experience my family has had. We are blessed to travel a lot and we always try and pick a nice Hotel chain. Our family expected a lot more from Sheraton.
