Only problem was the hotel didn’t accept the reservation from Kayak. Went to check in and although I had a confirmation number and a confirmed date I was denied due to their policy of not accepting 3rd party reservations. I was able to rebook at check in through the hotel but at a different rate. Not sure if I’ll get a full refund from Kayak as it takes 10 business days. Funny thing was when I mad...

Pros (+) We found this hotel on the IHG site since they had recently merged. Close to beach. Easy access to Pacific Highway. Staff at the hotel were friendly and genuinely happy with easygoing attitudes. It helped us relax and it made a difference. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and if we travel back to Huntington Beach this is where we will stay!
Cons (-) Not consistent with the way the room was cleaned. However, a quick phone call remedied our towel situation. Fridge was fully stocked. Wish there would have been less items in the fridge so we could put our own drinks in. No biggie.

Pros (+) Close to beach, friendly staff. Was everything I was looking for in a beach side hotel. Wish I was able to stay for longer than one night.
Cons (-) I was caught off guard with the $35 mandatory valet fee.
