Pros:We found this hotel on the IHG site since they had recently merged. Close to beach. Easy access to Pacific Highway. Staff at the hotel were friendly and genuinely happy with easygoing attitudes. It helped us relax and it made a difference. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and if we travel back to Huntington Beach this is where we will stay!
Cons:Not consistent with the way the room was cleaned. However, a quick phone call remedied our towel situation. Fridge was fully stocked. Wish there would have been less items in the fridge so we could put our own drinks in. No biggie.

Pros:The people who work here are wonderful. Everyone was friendly and professional. Location is great if you want to be in downtown Huntington Beach.
Cons:I've stayed at other Kimpton Hotels and found them quirky and charming. This one is a boutique hotel without the charm of a boutique hotel. They also charge a daily resort fee of $25 (plus $3 tax). In no way is this a resort. There is no pool, no spa and if you get a courtyard view room, no view of anything but the courtyard. As someone else noted, the parking fee is hight but it's consistent with charges for all the parking garages in the area.

Cons:Was given a room on main floor almost directly off common area, but I suppose someone has to get that one... no ice machine on our floor. Balcony separated from neighbors' by a couple of floor planters--not very secure.

Pros:This is a great location in Huntington Beach, across the street from the beach and the pier. We loved the cool factor of the hotel and the modern design. The casual beach atmosphere and friendly staff was a treat. We loved the free use of the bicycles.

Cons:Room did not have a couch/pullout bed like it was shown in the picture. Hotel did not want to work with me about switching rooms. Had to ask for blankets to build a bed on the floor.
