Biggest complaint is noise. The rooms don't have thick enough walls and most sounds come through from room to room pretty clearly. Also, on the back side of the hotel, all balconies look out on parking but when opening the sliding door all you hear is the thunderous sound of numerous industrial sized air conditioners, so those balconies are useless. This has been one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly & helpful, and it’s walking distance to Waikiki Beach & lots of shopping. Highly recommend staying there, especially if its your first time going to Hawaii.

Staying in Waikiki is always noisy. There is street drama, traffic, and sirens - part of what makes it exciting. What I didn’t need was thin walls and neighbors with booming voices late into the night.

Cons (-) There’s an ongoing strike. Starts at 6am and ends at 10pm. No peace or tranquility at all. Can’t sleep with the constant drumming. They try to drown out the picket line drumming with loud Hawaiian music. Riducolous. Sheets had sand.

Cons (-) Rooms were much smaller than I expected. We stayed in the renovated stayed and the bathrooms were nice but even with just 2 people the room was very crowded. The staff weren’t very inviting. Cons (-) This hotel is a rundown crappy hotel. I’m surprised Sheraton allow them to put their name on it. The rooms are worse than any motel 6 motel. The only thing good I can say is the housekeepers did a good job.
