I booked the rental with Kayak. About 30 minutes later, my local Hertz called me and said they had no vehicles available. I thought that was the end of it, but turns out Hertz expected me to let Kayak (apparently Hertz) know the rental was cancelled. So I was charged for the no call/no show fee by Hertz and for the rental insurance I never used. I had to call three different companies to get my money back.Reviewed Nov 2 2024
