I am always disappointed in the hertz in Hoover. Unfortunately it’s the only one close. The Kia I was first going to get was empty and a bit dirty. I took it back and asked for a different car I would wait for it to be cleaned since they said they had one but it would be an upgrade and needed to be cleaned. I paid the extra $30 and drove the Malibu to the airport. Just wasn’t a great experience. I’m unsure if it’s the location or drops offs, however the ppl seemed nice but overwhelmed.Reviewed Jun 1 2024

I made a reservation for Friday am at 8 am several days in advance. After waiting in line about 15 minutes, they told me that they were still waiting for cars and didn’t have one for me and they would unlikely have one that day. I understand things happen but there was no communication that they could not fulfill the reservation. Very disappointing to say the least.Reviewed Feb 25 2024

Hertz didn't have my reservation. Enterprise asked me to come back in a hour/...Caleb was wonderful to work with and had me in a car within the hour and made me feel like i was doing him a favor instead of the other way around, I will use him and enterprise from here on out.Reviewed Sept 25 2023

Pros:Slow, inconsiderate staff. Car was not ready. Other customers who arrived 20-30 minutes after me received their vehicles before I did. When I asked why there was a delay, the office staff went though a back door to “find out what was going on” but never returned. There was no other staff present in the main office area for 10 minutes.Cons:The car should have been cleaned and ready to go. I selected the 8:00 pickup time for a very specific reason. The car not being ready delayed my departure and created a significant inconvenience for me the rest of that day. The staff was slow and inconsiderate.Reviewed Jan 3 2021
