We reserved a car for the holiday weekend in Seattle to meet with family in tacoma. The day before we were going to pick up the vehicle we were called by the local Hertz branch and told that there were no cars available. Sorry. Why should I ever use this "service" again. A reservation is supposed to mean that the item you have reserved in advance will be there when you need it. This is the 2nd time that my "reservation" has not been held for me. You have not pull with the rental car companies and therefore I will never use this platform for renting cars again. It is a waste of time and effort and just creates a big headache and stress. I used to say that Kayak was the best 3rd party around. Since this experience I have told at least 3 people that told me they need to get a rental car soon to never use a 3rd party site again, especially Kayak, as the likelihood of the car being there is nonexistent. I will continue to let people know that this is the case.Reviewed Jul 10 2024

I showed up to return my car @ 11:30 am on 7/6/2024 and the location closes at noon but no one was there I waited 30 minutes and called and I could not even leave a voicemail as there was not one set up. I left the car and took the keys because there is not drop box of any kind.Reviewed Jul 7 2024
