Great location and excellent hospitality from all staff. Location wise, it is very near the train station and a 10 minute walk from the centre, but close by for a range of cafes, restaurants and more. All rooms come with an en suite and a balcony, plus a new addition- a mini fridge,which was particulary good for the summer time.

fantastic location opposite train station, 5 minutes from historic centre by foot, parking outside was free, range of cheap cafes to eat at (not that you would with so many fantastic ones nearby in center) but actually had a great breakfast with a range of fresh baked goods and fresh coffee! Our suite /family room had a large balcony with views of rear flats but enough space to sit outside with glass of wine or for smokers a bonus or even sunbathes. At the price it was great for height of summer, a bit tatty in places but expected and nothing out of sync with older budget hotel. I guess rooms at front would have more noise and smaller balconies.
