Incredible staff. Everyone was very attentive and aware. The restaurant staff is all just as helpful as the hotel staff. The rooms are very cute and actually very quiet considering the church and garden is right outside. The cafe and restaurant have very good menus, also.
The street performers in the morning can be a bit loud but they only play for a few minutes and only the less talented ones are annoying lol
Very clean comfortable bed and pillows very good hotel crew tea and sandwiches
Everything was good
The decorations, the staff is very nice
Great location to walk everywhere. Funky design and overall cool vibe with a restaurant that serves good food downstairs. Once we got past the initial hick-up with the first room (see below) we decided to stay an extra 2 days. If you like the bustle of the city this is a great place to stay, if you prefer a quiet place then this maybe not so much the place. We personally enjoyed the sounds of the city for the time we were there, it is however pretty noisy between the traffic, a park and the sounds of a busy restaurant which is something one should expect from a setting such as this.
We arrived late at 2am and our initial room we had booked was not quite what we had hoped for. It had a bit of a musky smell (which likely came from wooden countertop in the sink area) and unfortunately we found hair in our bed. When we told the front desk, he did not hesitate to change us into another room that was clean and didn't smell at all. Only the A/C didn't work which was addressed the next day by a technician. This room was not only an upgrade to the original room but when unpleasant things happen, it is how staff handles an issue that matters most. In this case the staff rectified the situation professionally, friendly and without hesitation. That was the reason we decided to extend our stay.
Location and the cafe downstairs was excellent...the room was awesome and comfortable with balconies overlooking the plaza
A bit noisy at night but expected because of the location...shower wasn't draining properly.
