Pros:The pool policy of having only one family at a time via a sign up sheet was appreciated during COVID.
Cons:Not the experience I thought I would have at a well reviewed Hilton family property, would probably not stay here again. I stayed here with my wife and young child for four days in room 301. Cleanliness: With the COVID pandemic, there is an expectation of additional attention to cleanliness. This room and experience didn’t even meet pre-pandemic levels of clean. The carpets were so dirty that our socks were stained black in a couple of hours There was a wall socket that stuck out enough to expose the wires (see photos) There was black mold all over both AC units (see photos) There were clumps of hair and elastic’s from braces all over the bathroom floors The handles to the dresser were covered in neon play doh There was bright gold glitter glue stuck fast to the table The couch, throw pillows and desk chair were stained filthy and smelled There was only one room on the third floor with a Lysol seal starting that the room was sanitized and ready to go They have stickers on the mirrors stating that all surfaces are cleaned in an extra thorough manner and many of the things wrong in our room are listed in that sticker that says they get extra attention. Clearly not the case here. Staff: Check-in was fine The first room did not have a kitchen which we had booked but they were able to accommodate and moved us right away. Even with the state of the room, I was reluctant to try and get a third room as it was not a straight forward process to switch from the first. Subsequent interactions were curt and not very friendly Breakfast: There were quite a few options to choose from at the beginning of the week including frozen breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, etc. However, the breakfast was not restocked during the week and by Friday there was only yogurt, breakfast bars and oranges.
