Pros: Heather and Bob have such a beautiful property and their place and the atmosphere they created felt like home away from home. >Very Clean beautiful and Comfortable Rooms. >Genuine and great personality made us feel super comfortable. > All details in check and an itinerary of things we can do, eat and see around town. > Hot Tub overlooking the mountains (which they told us and we had no clue about). > Breakfast that every kid and adult will run down the stairs for: Homemade Jan, Bagel, Waffle and everything in between. Thank you for being one of the highlights of our trip! Looking forward to seeing you next time we stay in Golden!

Pros: the breakfast was not what you want , or expect , from a bed and breakfast, but rather what you would get from a familty hotel. NO home made breakfast.
Cons: the home was beautiful, the location beautiful, but the comfort was practically non existent. First, we got locked out of the door that we were told was for our access. This was only 9pm when we came back from dinner at a lovely restaurant that the owner recommended to us. He said he thought we were back! We had only been gone an hour! Plus, if he had bothered to look , he would have seen our car was not parked where we were told to park. All he had to do was lookout his window and we would have been spared the imposition. Next - I found a used , dried stiff washcloth in our bathroom. Next - there was no vanity space in the bathroom for one's toiletries. I had to spread our things out in the bedroom. For all it's appearances it fell way, way short on the hospitality scale. When I sat on the bed I heard bed springs!! Couldn't remember how long it had been since i'd ever slept on a spring bed. You can bet the owners weren't. The linens were very nice, nice bedspread, but the pillows were the ultimate in cheap and discomfort. I COULD NOT SLEEP! i COULD NOT SLEEP WITH THOSE PILLOWS! I soon discerned my husband as well could not sleep in his bed as well,; for the same reasons as me as well as the lack of cool air flow. We had the windows open as much ( or as little ) as they would open, but there was no air flow , there was no separate air conditioner, and there was no ceiling fan. We finally agreed to try to sleep till 4.30 or 5 and leave before dawn. 15 minutes later we gave up. we got up , packed our things and left. Le Beausoleil was supposed to be the special treat for me from my husband on our trip.It sucked ! Clearly for all the good intentions of the owners, and the fineness of their house, they lack the understanding of what they are offering. They don't have a clue. But then why should they. They got our money anyway!

Cons: Felt like we were intruding on a family BBQ in their home as we had to ask them to turn down the music so we could sleep at 11:30. Felt more like an Air B and B where you had a room in someone's house then a bed and breakfast where you had private quiet space.
website led us to believe that it was more isolated in the woods where 'wild animals' were their 'neighbors' - was actually in a sub division of Golden, nice view of mountains but also of noisy freeway below

Pros: Fantastic location and place to stay! House is immaculately clean and very cheerful. Super area x 2 for guests to relax outside of their room and we were also invited to use the veranda which has a fabulous view of the mountains and is under cover (in case it is raining). Brandy the host is a really lovely lady, very welcoming and chatty. She is also a superb cook and so breakfast was gorgeous. Brandy is very passionate about her home and this is evident when you wander around it. She has thought of everything when it comes to her guests comfort. It is a real homely place and we loved it. There is a coffee/tea station set up every afternoon, together with water and wine! Guests can also use the guest fridge/freezer. We loved it here and wished we could stay longer! The B & B is just a short drive from the town of Golden and there is plenty to explore in the area. It’s definite worth a visit. We can highly recommend it. Thanks for a great stay Brandy
