Breakfast was excellent - although I never got offered toast on the first morning by the guy in a suit who showed me to my table - guessing he is supervisor/management level - slipped up there! location - fine for central Glasgow - although bit of a walk all the way round the block to get to Argyle St - did somebody forget to tell me about a shortcut? And the overall location of the hotel doesn't lend itself to a romantic weekend - next to a motorway!
1 x G& T, plus 1 pint = £16.00 !! ouch!!!
The view, the facilities in the hotel, the executive lounge
Nothing to not like
Catered for every need.very good for business trips
Location is good - walking distance from the central railway station, and the conference center. The hotel is nice - the room is fine - though one should insist on getting a room "with city view" (East) - since the other direction is viewing a very busy highway, noisy day and night!!!
The maintenance is awful - the room was colds (October in Glasgow) and after several complaints a guy came, climbed into the ceiling, worked on the pipes, filled the room with dust and garbage... then claimed he fixed the problem. After some time, when the room was still cold, he came back to tell us that the engineer has to take care of the gas furnaces, and once he does - then it will get warm.... It did after a day.... Lovely.
Bedroom was clean and a big comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast.
Breakfast area could of been more comfortable. Better chairs and table cloths. Breakfast was still great just a suggestion.
