Pros: Location, nice helpful staff, excellent room and facilities. Good breakfast on Friday with very attentive waitress.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are super helpful and friendly leading to a really comfortable stay. Excellent location. would love to go back.
Cons: The caged birds lent a lovely ambience, but.... suggest they record a few days worth of chatter for when they shuffle off so then dont need more.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in the historical center of Grenoble, with just a minute walk from a tram stop. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice mountain view. There was everything I needed during my stay. During my check-in I was welcomed by a very nice receptionist, who was friendly, engaging and gave me a few good recommendations as to exploring the city. The breakfast was tasty with a variety of cereal, fresh fruits and nuts, yoghurt, pastry, juice, tea and coffee.
Cons: I would welcome an electric socket near the bed (though it is just a minor thing and I could do just fine even without it during my stay). I would also welcome broadening the breakfast with a plant-based milk/yoghurt option.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The best bed ever - even better than ours back home! Nuxe toiletries, complimentary minibar, nespresso and madeleines. Clean carpet, best pillows and duvet. Breakfast was superb with both quality and variety. easily the best continental breakfast I’ve had on this 2-week long trip. Staff speak good English and were all helpful and friendly, even the housekeeping staff who was moving trolleys out of the garage. Very handy private parking in the underground garage. Though chargeable but was reasonable at 5Euros/day. Quiet on the 4th floor even though hotel right next to the road.
Cons: Nothing.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The restaurant is nice and serves ok food. The rooms were clean and, as usual in France, provides a Nespresso coffee machine which I believe is a good thing :). Most of the staff was helpful and nice.
Cons: The hotel is ok. Nothing too fancy. It's clean and not too old, like most of the hotels in the area. The location is doubtable. It's known to be not safe, so it's recommended by the hotel staff to do not park in the streets. Instead use the E$5.00/day parking the hotel provides (At least, parking garage isn't expensive). At nights, on the main avenue nearby, you can find "night workers" and other type of people which is a little intimidating. Food options nearby is really scarce, so you have to walk at least 15 minutes down the big avenue to find reasonable food. Other than that, I'd say it's not that bad located. It's average, but it's far from the old downtown by the river where you find the nicest places. However, if you manage to understand the tram line, you can get and get out from there pretty quickly. Don't take me wrong, I'm not saying it's dangerous, but it is intimidating. If you are a woman/girl staying by yourself, I'd recommend caution. AC on the room didn't work, but I think this is an european thing to turn off the main AC during "winter". Even if the "winter" was 80 to 85F.
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel was easy to find. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The WiFi worked well in my room. There was secure underground parking for my motorbike.
Cons: The hotel was located rather a long way from the historic centre of Grenoble. The underground car park had a polished concrete surface, which was rather slippery for motorcycles; and to park the motorbike there was very expensive.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff very efficient and helpful
Cons: Should have had a safe in the room
7,1 Good
Pros: room comfort
Cons: poor quality breakfast
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine in the hotel and its surrounding, like: restaurants, grocery, walking area

6,0 Good
Pros: From the outside it is a quintessential French hotel and looks lovely. It's in a good location within the city and overlooks Victor Hugo Square. The room was a fair size and the breakfast had a good selection.
Cons: As the hotel is supposed to be the oldest in Grenoble, some parts of it are rather old. The walls are not very sound-proof!! As we could hear our neighbours quite clearly, we had a chat with the receptionist and they changed our room at no extra charge and without any issues.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Situated right in the centre. Breakfast was perfect for a week. The receptionist was kind, helpful and smily. The window was looking to the Victor Hugo square, showing the Alps at the back.
Cons: The whole seemed to be old and used down. The room was small and badly arranged. No space for the luggages. No fridge. Cabinet for the clothes (hanging) was small and no shelf for guest use. Room was smelly, the window is small to air the room sufficiently. Air conditioner box was dirty I was not dare to switch on.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location . Right in the center with easy access to train station and further afield. My superior room was spacious, very clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Breakfast plentiful.
Cons: Would have liked a bar but it wasn’t a problem as cafes and bar all around the property.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location and good parking agreement with the Municipality
Cons: Internet very poor, climate control in the room not working. Our room key was misplaced by receptionist
9,0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was good - excellent location
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel placed in nice place - at the city center, many restaurants, good transportation (close tram stop, bus stops), also reachable railway station. Hotel has good sound insulation - nobody disturbs, even in the center there are activities closely placed.
Cons: Hotel with such nice historical building really spoiled with internal installation - electric lines sticking, switchers are just places somewhere, eco lamps gone for ages and just lights for himself, but no real light from them. Room size is small, but that is OK for old building. Another thing what I met - my baggage was lost and delivered to hotel next day at midday, I asked to phone me, but at my arrival in evening, personal even claim that my suitcase is not arrived. On closer look it was standing in the luggage room, and I lack material for meeting, which would be used from time of luggage arrival. This is not crucial, but even time and date of arrival was not fixed (this is important claiming reimbursement for purchased items in this case).
7,1 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Friendly staff
Cons: Needs some refurbishment
7,1 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with local produce
Cons: The room was a bit run down and cramped

Cons: The rooms were small and there was no gym!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had hot and cold options
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Every staff member was kind and attentive and went out of their way to make sure whatever need we had was met.
Cons: The room got pretty hot for my comfort at night and fiddling with the wall unit didn’t seem to have much effect....but we brought it to their attention and they had someone look at it. It wasn’t as cool as I would like it but it did cool down enough to sleep comfortably.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine. No issues.
Cons: If I could change something, it would be the parking situation. For someone who is not accustomed to park in tight spaces, the parking was a nightmare. I had to have someone help me to avoid hitting the walls. It took a while to park every time because of that.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: It was nice looking and inexpensive option in the center of Grenoble. I honestly expected there would be some catch (like photos of the hotel were massively photoshopped or there are problems with cleaning / facilities / whatnot), but to my surprise everything was either as expected or even better.
Cons: The elevator is the size of a gym locker. If you have four people with bags, prepare to take no less than three tours.

Pros: We always like breakfast at Ibis Styles hotels - and rooms are clean & orderly. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful & pleasant. Good location for river, Bastille, marker and old town.
Cons: We were on the top floor and could still hear street noise in nearby bars until very late. Location is not good for a peaceful night's sleep - maybe ok in winter when people are not on the streets.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location was convenient for me, and close to the train station. The breakfast was great.
Cons: I was disappointed by the room. Usually Ibis Styles rooms are more stylish. The room was small and average. Lots of street noise.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good localization, close to the railway station and to the center of the city. Relatively quiet. Rooms are very clean.
Cons: nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was very convenient (close to the station) and a short walk to the main part of town. The staff was incredible. The woman who checked me in was helpful and very kind. The staff also had a very cute dog that welcomed me :)
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. I expected to struggle with French, but people spoke English. There was noise in the street into the night once and that woke me up. I suggest a bigger bar of soap, sweet scent for the room when it is cleaned. I was surprised that the room was not locked after it had been cleaned (I did not leave anything valuable but it occurred to me that this is not a nice thing -one is entitled to privacy as long as he complies with the rules). The family air can be augmented with a some cheerful and colourful pictures on the hallways.
Cons: Please see #3 above
6,3 Good
Pros: The location is nice, 5min walk to the train station. Staff is kind. Cannot complain too much -- it is not expensive.
Cons: The room is full of the smell of detergent. The mattress is somewhat broken. There is a fan in the room, but does not help much in a hot day in Grenoble. With the heat and smell of the detergent, we have to open the window during the night, but then it was noisy.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lift. Clean. Easy walk to train and bus station. Easy walk to the town and river.
Cons: No English tv channels. A little bit of noise from people outside of your room.
Kyriad Grenoble Centre - Grenoble - Building

8,0 Excellent (1 390 reviews)
Overview Reviews
In the heart of Grenoble, Kyriad Grenoble Centre is within a 5-minute drive of Stade Lesdiguieres and Grenoble Seyssins Golf Club. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast, very good coffee
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and very pleasant. Breakfast was good.
7,5 Good
Pros: Free and secure off road parking although limited number of spaces. There were some free parking spaces on the road outside. Tram stop (line E) and bus stops right outside the hotel so very handy for going into city centre if you don't want to take the car. For those with an electric / hybrid car there are a number of charging points very close to the hotel.
Cons: The beds were a bit hard but we are finding that a lot in French hotels recently. Maybe it's just us. A kettle and tea making facilities are provided in the room but literally only tea-making facilities. Sachets of instant coffee were not supplied. The buffet breakfast was expensive at 12 euros per person so we went across the road to a boulangerie and had coffee and croissants and pain au chocolat there instead for about 3 euros each (so breakfast for 3 cost less than breakfast for 1 in the hotel).
7,5 Good
Cons: The hotel charged my credit card in advance (my bank charges extra 10% for that). They refused to return the payment and accept payment in cash instead.
6,3 Good
Pros: Very accessible
Cons: Blue light of television
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located at a quiet street. The room was small but it had everything I needed. Tea kettle in the room is great for a morning tea/coffee to start the day and an evening tea after a busy day. Complimentary bottled water was provided as well as tea/coffee/biscuits. The hotel provides parking space and there are some parking places on the streets nearby. It was my second stay and I wouldn't hesitate to book Kyriad Grenoble Centre again if/when I travel to Grenoble again.
Cons: I was unable to manage the safe deposit box in the room. It was not critical as my stay was quite short. There was no fridge in the room in case it's important for someone.

Pros: Nice stay! My single room was a little bit small and old but comfortable, great value for solo traveling. Located in the city center where you can enjoy the most of Grenoble city. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The nearest tram station is only 3 minutes by foot. Several shops for everyday needs and snacks are located nearby. Staffs are very nice and helpful. They have many brochures on travel suggestions.

Pros: It's a nice hotel very close to the city center and railway station. My room was small, but clean and rather quiet (looked into the street). Very helpful people in the reception.
Cons: I cannot say that I was very fond of the breakfast, for 10 euros it's a bit too simple, you can have cheese if you are lucky because in the weekends it's rather crowdy.

Pros: The service was amazing. The manager was called Olivier and he went the extra mile to take care of everything. I can honestly say after saying at several hotels, this has been the best hotel I have stayed at as the customer service was fantastic. I would definitely stay again.
Cons: Parking was a problem, however Olivier (the manager) instructed us that If we parked our car in the underground parking across the property after 19:00 and collect the car before 07:30 then it would on charge €4.

Pros: Good breakfast, staff were very nice Great location for walking in the city. Parking garage was excellent
Cons: A couple of drunks who booked in at 2am in the morning, sadly the room they gave them was next door to us. Worst nights sleep ever in a hotel. The room had no air-con so was very hot, open the window and the town noise just flooded in

5,0 Okay
Pros: It is close to tram stop so it's easy to reach the city centre and the railway station as well. The neighborhood is nice, great landscapes in the area.
Cons: I didn't like the smell in the room. The rooms should be ventilated more (open the windows). The bathroom wasn't too clean and the shower drain was faulty.
5,4 Okay
Pros: It is relatively cheap and clean. There are microwave and bending machines for beverage and snacks. Although there isn’t elevator, receptionist helped to carry up my big luggages to my room. On my checking-out day, since I got unexpected plan change, I asked reception to keep my bagage for hours and he accept it, is was very helpful for me.
Cons: I wrote that I can’t speak French on booking form and they replied it is ok but people in reception keep talk to me in French even I said I can’t speak French. The other thing is when I asked whether i can leave my luggage in front or not, receptionist looked bit angry and kept saying to me something very fast in french, I can’t understand tho. But expect these two aspects, generally it was a good accommodation.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find and in a very quiet location. Close to a main restaurant strip and the city of Grenoble.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very good for the university campus. Safe and secure parking. Great there's a restaurant nearby. Breakfast excellent value. Special mention for the owner/ manager who works hard to ensure everything is topped up at breakfast. We hope to return.
Cons: Strong smell of disinfectant cleaning spray in room on arrival

Pros: The location of the hotel, walking distance to the university and the public transport was wonderful.
Cons: The breakfast was a little bit weak. There was not any eggs at the breakfast. The room was so small. The hotel staff (even some of the receptionists and waitresses) were not speaking English, that was the biggest problem.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Nice room. Quiet. Good restaurant and food.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: There is very close to railway station.
Cons: Has a cigarette smell in the bedroom.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast ok
Cons: The room smelled like it had not been ventilated in a while, very humid inside. The worst part was that the bathroom floor was sticky, your shoes got stuck in every step. Moreover the restaurant had no cook so only 3 dishes were available. I do not recommend this hotel
7,9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good, staff were the real plus for the hotel group, , location was good and very secure.
Cons: however the stay was marred by the lack of the room that i had booked and paid for which was a room with a double bed and a single one. The first night we were given a room with a double bed and when i complained we were kindly given a second room and told it would be sorted tomorrow, not sorted within the 15 min time frame they specify but an attempt made. The next dat we vacated the 2 rooms and took our luggage with us and on returning that evening we got placed in a room with 2 single beds. Not good enough at all.

Pros: The place is nice for its price. The room is quite comfortable.
Cons: I booked 4 rooms but when I get there I just got one room. So I have to book 3 more and the price is higher. I am really dissapointed with this hotel and the staff is not friendly at all. He keep sighing when I told him that I have booked 4 rooms and I just get one room.

Pros: Good value for money
Cons: We have not towels
8,0 Excellent
Pros: we arrived at 1:30 so there was no reception. But everything was well explained and prepared. so we managed to open the gate for entering the car and to get our room the styling and decoration is really cool and modern, the establishment is modern (modern toilets, Flushbuttons etc) they have several vending machines at the entry, our room was really cozy warm when we arrived, outside it was cold, so we felt immediately confortable
Cons: I didnt like that i had to pay there on place with my credit card in stead of directly via booking. this charged me some fees (other currency). The showers and WC were disgusting because of the other guests. The internet didnt work for us. We had a sink in our room but no soap or towels/Tissues. We could hear everything from the people in the corridors, they were screaming, talking loudly or laughing. I wish they had security or cleaning checks at night for people just staying there overnight.

Pros: Price
Cons: Far from city centre

Pros: The breakfast was fair. There was no much variety (coffee, orange juice, bread and jam). The buffet close at 10:30 am. There was no view in the room. I was on the first floor and I could only see the highway.
Cons: My stay was for 3 nights at this hotel. The first night I stayed in a room with sharing bathroom and showers. IT WAS AWFUL AND DISGUSTING. The toilets and showers were very dirty at night and the horrible smell of them reach out to the hallway of the rooms. No way to use them. There was nobody at night to complain (no concierge, no cleaning services). I complained the next morning to the responsable and he gave me a room with private shower and toilets with no extra charges. They were clean and the blankets were also clean expect for the spiderweb at the roof corners. Also, You can smell smoke in the hallways at night. Not recommended especially for girls since if you want to return at night the tram station is not very close to the hotel.

Cons: Very bad hotel. Since i reserve the room for sleeping and i cannot sleep with a noisy water sounds. And the air conditioning isnt working since the room is too hot. Low cost low service is fine but at least that we can sleep.

7,9 Good
Pros: Very basic, but comfortable. Easy to get to Grenoble centre by tram, and even though it's close to the highway, the sound proofing works very well. Good strong aircon.
Cons: The bathroom was to small for a normal person, it seems to have been built by the same company that builds toilettes in boats. There could have been a fridge as well.

Pros: Simple brekfast
Cons: More kind of food
6,7 Good
Pros: The man at reception kindly checked us in during closing hours. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was simple but as much as you wanted. It was a short distance from Grenoble Uni. The room was clean but on the small side. Ideal for a cheap 2 night stay which is what we wanted. It was a 10 min walk to tram B which brings you straight to Grenoble train station. We ate in Hippopotamus restaurant,3 min walk away.
Cons: Nothing really. It is a very basic hotel with no lift but I knew what I was getting for the price I paid.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: We had to sleep in the car with a small girl and a 70-year-old person. THE KEY EXPENDER MACHINE DOES NOT WORK. They do not return my reservation money. I have been charged for the entire night without being able to enter the room. There are more people with the same problem.
Cons: The treatment and how to solve the problem they have caused.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Large comfy bed, with no foot, hence good for tall people. Simple, but enough facility. Wet bathroom, of the type in a ships cabin. Good ventilation. Air cond.. Sited by motorway, but use earplugs to assist sleeping if window is open. Helpful maid service to replenish towels etc during stay, if requested. Price the same if booked earlier or not. Same price for one or three people. Can request for large double or single beds. Plenty of parking, with security gate for night time. Local restaurant.
Cons: Difficult to find in evening due to being sited well inside an estate and poor signage. Best to get to by car, as public transport to city is not straightforward. Road noise can be tiring during the day. Shower drainage is slow but ok, wet bathroom floor fills during a shower. No sink plug, did not need to mention this.
