Not what we ordered.
Location
We’ve stayed here before and it’s always good for location and price can’t really be beat. We put in for a king bed and when we got there had two double beds. Not a huge deal but not what we wanted. The TV didn’t work either which would have been aggravating if we stayed more than one night. We didn’t say anything to management about this during our stay because we got there and quickly went downtown and didn’t find out about the tv until late that night. When we contacted our booking place (hotels.com) they contacted the hotel and were told nothing could be done since it wasn’t mentioned during our stay. For the price and a quick stay it’s not bad. Might check out somewhere else next time.
The staff was very friendly, that is hard to come by anymore. So that was very much appreciated. I was slightly worried about the room based on other reviews but I thought it was perfectly fine and actually a good room for the price. The pool is a good size also, my kids enjoyed it very much. The breakfast was better than expected too. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. This goes to show that you can’t always let reviews scare you away.
Room had damp smell
Bare Minimum
We stayed here after bailing on a cold wet camping trip. It was warm and shower was hot. That’s about all I can say.
Tv didn’t work. Baseboard coming off. No tub stopper. Sketchy lamp shade. AC cover fell off. No signage on the unit, just knobs. Had to guess what was what. Bed sagged toward the middle.
Worst
The view.
There was mold in the bath room the staff was insulting the TV picture was crappy had bed bugs asked for my money back we spent 103 on one night and it was awful I will never stay there again and I am trying to get my money back.
Good stay for the money
This was a good stay for the money. The breakfast was not all that bad and the rooms are in close proximity to Gatlinburg's main drag.
worst hotel I have ever stayed in
pool
management, room was not clean, dirty pillow cases , tub didn't drain. overall experience was awefull
value for the price
Staff very friendly and helpful older but bang for your buck, beds clean and comfortable and bathroom clean decent breakfast selection, overall very pleased with stay there, I was there to ride motorcycle in the park so my needs were comfortable bed and clean bathroom I only slept and showered didn't need room accommodations like being home just needed clean, location is close enough to walk uptown to eat with no issues
Carpet worn but that's expected with the volume of people that stay in Gatlinburg, and small issue with shower head leaking from crack in screw on connection
Great Place to Stay
I bought two rooms at noon on the same day we needed to stay. We arrived shortly after I made the reservation and the desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the rooms were not ready yet but we really didn't expect them to be as it was just about noon. When we came back at 3 they were ready. We found them to be clean and well cared for. No complaints at all
Nothing
Wow not a good time
1/4 mile walk to mall
Where to start! Rooms need updating bad! Hard beds, Old tv, lights over the sink wouldn't come on. Shower head spraying in every direction. Water stain in roof tiles, tolite handle broken, bathroom heater switch was turned side ways. Not good not good at all
Very clean
These guys just recovered from a natural disaster. The city had just burned down a month before our stay, and all things concidered they had done a bang up job getting things back to order. Only thing that got over looked was a problem with the cable box.
