We had to change dates of our stay due to a typhoon. The staff under these circumstances were very helpful and managed to find new rooms for our family. Moreover they gave us an upgrade to use the Executive Lounge which we enjoyed very much on a day when we couldn’t visit Fukuoka due to weather conditions. Excellent customer orientation and service mindset. Warmly recommended!
The hotel location is good because it is in the fron of the beach.
The room is smaller than our expectation.
Room conditions but the shower booth was rusty spot noticeable
Bath room was not neat conditions like the rusty spots of the shower booth
The location is quite out of the way of the centre of Fukuoka City, but it is close to Hakata Bay and Fukuoka Tower. The easiest way to get here is via bus. Other options are getting the metro, and then taking a taxi or walking from the metro stop. The breakfast was very nice.
I find it kind of weird that such a high-end hotel chain that charges relatively high rates does not offer free wifi unless you become a member of their Hilton Honors programme. Also, contrary to what you are lead to believe from the photos, the majority of the rooms do not appear to have very good views, and my room's view was really disappointing. The room was pretty small for the price being charged; it wasn't very good value for money. Aside from that, the hotel does offer an airport shuttle, but it doesn't have any service early in the morning, and the earliest you can get to the airport would be around 9am. Since the airport is not so far away, however, you can get a taxi to the nearest metro station and take the Kuko Line (airport line), and arrive at the airport pretty quickly.
Nice rooms and amazing view.
The hotel is huge and, therefore, there are lines for everything. I spent at least 30 minutes per day on the line to get a table for breakfast. Check-in was a nightmare too.
