Cons: Expensive and no breakfast is included
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location right next to the train station. The hotel was very clean and had a modern and appealing interior design. Staff was friendly and rooms very clean
Cons: The Onsen, one of the main reasons for checking into the hotel had strange opening hours. I practice night photography and don't get home until late (early in the morning). In my holidays I also tend to sleep in. The Onsen in the hotel closed at 2 am, reopened again at 6 am and closed again at 9.30. I missed the Onsen twice, at night and in the morning. We had by far better experiences with hotels of the same category in Japan. This is something that should be explicitly pointed out in the description.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the hand wash!!! Not only because it smelled nice, but also because it was the FIRST time that we came across a hotel that provided bottled liquid hand wash instead of those soap bars, keeping the vanity top extremely neat and tidy
Cons: Its a "tradition" for our family to dine at the hotel during our stay on all our family holiday trips to complete the whole experience. Especially on the last day of the trip just so end it with a good meal but the cafe opened at only 8am and we had to leave for our flight by 730am so we were a little disappointed. There were limited TV channels and the resolutions of the TV was not clear. So we could only "listen" to the TV program
9,7 Excellent
Cons: I had been staying at a luxury double bed room over 5 times and it was to my surprise that the room I booked is such a tiny room eventhough I had added Yen2600 to exchange to a bigger room. At the end I have to pay extra Yen8000 to upgrade to the room type I stayed before which is something I did not expect. I once paid HK$780 (approx) for the luxury double bed but for the current stay, I paid double!

Pros: Location: a couple of blocks from train station, many restaurants around. Nice, sizeable room. Free internet. Modern, very clean, quiet rooms. Helpful staff.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The onsen is very good
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The reception and staffs are much better than other Dormy Inn.
Cons: The room and bed are too small
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staffs are very helpful and most of them are able to speak English well. It is an advantage for hotel guests to ride in a free hotel shuttle bus from hotel to Hakata train station in the morning. Room where we stayed is not quite small with a queen bed, it is also quiet, we heard no noise from outside. Thanks for a free delicious soba provided in late evening for all hotel guests. Other than that, onsen facilities are clean ,tidy and equipped with all we needed. We will certainly go back to Fukuoka and will book to stay at this hotel again in early 2020.
Cons: Breakfast buffet is same everyday when we stayed for 4 days. My only suggestion is to change it a little bit every day.

Pros: Onsen and Ramen services
Cons: Cannot select the 2 beds from booking At front 2 beds (twin) room is available but need to pay extra charge?????
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is super: just beside Canal City Hakata. The room is small but clean and nice and good for using a spa freely. Also the service of offering noodle soup was good. Staffs are kind.
Cons: I didn't know it when I booked the room, but cleaning the room was the option and I had to pay for that additionally. I didn't ask it, but it was good that everyday new towels and water are offered.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location is next to Canal City shopping mall which is very convenient to find everything you need. It is a walking distance to lots of sightseeing landmardks of Fukuoka. The hotel has late night free noodle for guests and onsen to relax.
Cons: None.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Parking costs 1800 yen a day but it was convenient and staff was helpful. The onsen has two parts-indoors and outdoors, and the female onsen was secured with passwords that change every day. Staff speak English.
Cons: The hotel needs to remind customers with kids to be more considerate. When I was using the onsen some kid brought toys into the water, sprayed water everywhere and created a lot of noise and nuisance to other users. It was very annoying and totally ruined the peace and quiet of the onsen experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, free parking and clean environment

The Hakata JR train station, airport bus station and subway are within 5 minutes walking distance. Airport bus takes less than 20 minutes to and from airport and hotel is 5 minutes walk from Hakata airport bus station. Our room is comfortable with excellent shower. Song at the Reception was very helpful in giving us directions for different attractions in Fukuoka.
Cons: We had breakfasts only first morning at the Hotel as we were disappointed at the variety of the breakfast items. Bottle drinking water (2) were only provided upon arrival with no further replenishment for our stay (3 nights). We were informed that tap water in the room is drinkable and from 3pm onwards, tea, coffee and water are available from the restaurant on the ground floor.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room is big and clean...very nice bathroom, really good breakfast and it is organic style. It is really healthy food. We love it :).
Cons: When we need extra advices or help, some staff seem not really care to service...but she just provided the answer which was not really helping the guest at all. This, we would be hesitate to stay here again next time soon.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staying there still gives a grand feeling. Location is excellent and staff are nice and friendly.
Cons: The price is still a bit steep, considering that more modern or newer hotels have comparable rooms and facilities. Triple room is a bit small for 3 adults, but this is not unusual for hotels in Japan.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very polite and professional. The lobby was beautifully decorated with bonsai and flower arrangements. Room was comfortable.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is near the ruins of Fukuoka Castle, with its most full of lotuses. I was travelling with some Thai people and the lady at the door greeted them in Thai, which was a nice gesture.
Cons: I tried to pay my bill with a MasterCard, but the hotel's system rejected it. I did not try with my Visa card, instead I resorted to paying in cash. Travellers should have sufficient cash handy to cover their bills - just in case the hotel's system fails.
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff was nice, the location is excellent.
Cons: Although this was one of the most prestigious hotels in Fukuoka during the 70’s and 80’s, it is getting old. I saw tapes on the outside of the bathtub, patching up what appeared to be a dent. Generally the rooms felt outdated.

Pros: Friendly staff. Good location. I will stay this hotel next trip.
Cons: None
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The quadruple room layout worked for our family of 2 adults, 1 grandparent and 2 young children. Toiletries and quality room amenities are great, small touches help with the stay. Comfy and clean beds. Location next to subway 1 stop away from Tenjin is also excellent but we drove and had young kids so priorities were different. We were able to go out for Yatai and popular destinations fairly easy to access. Staff were all polite and inviting to our young children but otherwise not much else for kids, still a business hotel after all. Didn’t do breakfast but
Cons: Green forest coffee house doesn’t have much bread till later in the morning. Dated carpets and some furnishing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very comfortable. And stuffs are so nice and helpful.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine but rather expensive. I prefer not to have a buffet for that reason. I don't need much. So I went to a coffee shop after the first day.
Cons: Everything was fine.

Pros: room cleaning
7,1 Good
Cons: One morning we took breakfast at the hotel’s cafe. We ordered 5 buns and 2 hot tea. Guess how much we paid finally? ¥10395(tax incl)!!!!! In the bill it stated “eat in bread” amount was ¥1430@, and hot tea costed ¥800@. But what the waitress did was just took out the bun from a plastic bag and served it on a plate without reheating or doing any garnishing stuff. Was it ridiculous?
