Pros: The location is excellent for a quiet relaxing time in low seasson. We walk the surrondings, kajak and enjoy the spa. As it is low season only one of the restaurants was open, but still the food was amazing. Breakfast was really nice with a huge variety including fresh and local products.

Pros: We did the half-board and would recommend it, the food was incredible and absolutely receive your money's worth. The fruit was so fresh -- and it's great to be able to try different things and know you can rely on that for breakfast. The staff is wonderful and we did an ocean view room with a sea bath, and would absolutely recommend. The view is phenomenal and gets a great breeze, don't skimp out on this one! :) Bath is also huge and wonderful. We did the spa for two, and super reasonably priced (we are Americans).
Cons: We found the A/C to not work super well and the bed was not the comfiest. Probably our only complaint.

Pros: Almost nothing
Cons: Customer service of this hotel is 0 (zero). We have been waited for 4 hours that our room will be ready. Uneducated staff with no hospitality. Water is coming suddenly hot or cold from the shower and sink tap. Bedroom window was broken and it took 3 days them to fix it. Rooms are noisy. Easy to hear other guest talks or private things.

Pros: The choice of food was ok, a couple of the male waiters were lovely and the animation team were great. I wanted fresh lemon for my morning drink and the chefs were happy to go and get me some which was nice. The pool was very quiet and you could always get a sun bed, very clean around the hotel.
Cons: Food was cold most of the time, and didn’t have English names, we didn’t mind to much as we aren’t fussy but can imagine it is a pain for some people. some of the female members of staff were so rude also. One receptionist and one waitress in the evening was particularly rude,

Pros: This property is very suitable for wheelchair users. The room was very spacious with an excelllent balcony. There was pool attendant everyday from 11-19 to support with the pool lift. During the day we almost had the pool to ourselves, which was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The disabled room is situated on the groundfloor looking out on the poolarea. In the evening this area is very noisy when there is entertainment preventing us from sleeping. The dinner starts at 20.30 which was a bit late for us and the selection of food was not that great, especially when vegetarian. More then once they had run out of beer or wine in the evening and sometimes we had to wait for a very long time at the bar for someone to appear.

Pros: The staff was nice and helpful. Its location is in a quite neighborhood and 15 minutes walking distance to the beach.
Cons: The hotel did not replace the toilet paper, shower gel and shampo. After midnight you can not get any drink, not even a water. The buffets are overpriced for what you get.

Pros: Spacious, modern apartments, location not super convenient but safe and ok. Menorca is a really green and beautiful island with lots of nice places to visit. Cala Galdana is quite a good homebase to explore the island. The Illunion resort is very close to a beautiful pine forrest through which you can walk 45 minutes to the beautiful Macarella / Macarellata beaches. Unfortunately, all the beaches in late August, even the remote ones are very full.
Cons: The walk on the road from Cala Galdana beach up the hill and then the stairs to the apartment (no elevators anywhere) can be tiring after a long day, however you can have a little stop at one of the restaurants on the way, or pop into the supermarket to pick up supplies. We stayed in late August an the hotel was packed with people and many loud kids, that play, scream and shout starting early morning until after midnight, so if you are a light sleeper or seek a quiet place, this is not for you. Another annoyance is the parking, there are only 20 parking spots and in 14 days we only managed to park there once, because there are just too many cars for the small parking area. Thus, you have to park on the streets nearby, which means walking another 5-7 minutes to your room. In the night after 10pm for at least 2,3 hours there was always are very nasty smell in the air like from a sewer which is not that charming when you want to enjoy the evening on the balcony (especially given the fact that there is a wonderful pine forest with incredible air adjacent to the resort). The staff at the reception had problems with English and seem to always take their sweet time, so you gotta have a lot of patience!

Pros: The place was spotless. Buffet for all three meals, fair selection and variety. The family of tiny tortoises in the garden are lovely. The kids playroom is great. It's on a hill but its a very gentle incline down to town/beach - a ten min stroll.
Cons: If you are in the two bedroom suites (there are two of them, rooms 138 and 238) they have fab views but be aware they are immediately above the "stage" and very noisy at night. The entertainment does finish by 10.30 - 11pm each night and then it's quiet. Swimming pool is a little cold as it's in the shade for parts of the day but we went late Sep and it was still doable! The entertainment is a bit naff/"Brits Abroad" (karaoke, tribute acts etc) but each to their own, just not our thing!

Pros: The whole resort was fantastic, we had a great time. There was something for everyone. The animation team were brilliant! They were professional, happy and friendly who invited you to participate in what you wanted to do during the day and evening. The apartment had everything you needed. We were in a one bedroom apartment and that was enough for 2 people, to have more would have been a little tight. The resort was fresh, clean and well maintained. The local supermarket which had a cafe was only across the road with a good choice of food and drink. A short walk to the marina where all the restaurants and shops were all lovely and then a further walk to the beautiful beach with clear shallow water. Highly recommend this resort and we would go again.
Cons: We were on the first floor with a balcony and we didn’t like the people in the apartment under us smoking cigarettes on their terrace which prevented us from sitting on our balcony in the evenings but that is not the resorts fault. It is something I absolutely hate!

Pros: The hotel was clean, spacious and comfortable. Room we stayed in had a balcony, seperate lounge and kitchenette. The restaurant was clean and food was ok, sometimes too salty but it was ok enough. They also had a seperate area for kids menu and they also had childrens cutlery. Pool was clean and had to of toys and floats for children to play with, always had a lifeguard on duty. Bouncy castle and mini playground was ok. Hotel transfers booked via the hotel was on time and effecient.
Cons: Food was a bit salty.

Pros: Beautiful room. Fabulous cheese and wine with zero food miles! Lovely location if you want peace and quiet but you’re so close to the main road in Menorca that getting out and seeing the island is a breeze
Cons: My wife has a few food intolerances which the hotel were informed of prior to booking. She was catered for brilliantly in the evening in the restaurant but breakfast was difficult and I’m not sure the message had been passed on to the kitchen.

Cons: The hotel is not managed at all ! You will be by yourself, not good at all for a pricey place. The staff was not professionnal - there was only one awful person for check in and check out and she didnt want to work at all. She was very disapointing. She insulted us. We are chocked. The visa was not working there. She asked for cash. Incredible ! Very nice staff at the restaurant ! Jose Luis was amazing. Very good food and pool.

Cons: We arrived at 11pm and nobody had informed us that the reception was not open at that time. Through the mobile phone they explained us where to find the keys, the Internet code, etc. There is no elevator (not good when carrying heavy luggage). No complimentary water bottle in the room.

Pros: It’s a perfect farm house and a great location you can walk around and discover nature, it was very silent so perfect to chill for us. Manu is one of the owners, he is very friendly and easygoing person. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we will repeat again for sure!

Pros: Everything! From the rooms to the pool to the gardens to the little chapel inside. The property had so much character and the location was ideal for exploring the coves and beaches nearby. It was quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and make sure you felt at home. So much so that you could go about pretending it’s your own personal summer house. we travelled with a group and had a 5 year old with us as well. We found it to be very family friendly. It’s very close to Cala Galdana and if resorts aren’t your scene, this place is better to stay and make your base on the island. You can truly appreciate nature, it’s sounds and beauty here. The rooms were all very clean and offered all facilities. We found it easy to find, entrance was right opposite the garden centre on the main road. Overall we loved every minute of our stay here and wished it could be longer. Would highly recommend.

Pros: We were not happy with the standard of the breakfast, it was very basic. The manager was understanding and removed the cost for us. The location is close to nice beaches but quite isolated. The Staff gave us good recommendations on places to visit.
Cons: My partner and I booked this accommodation with a lot of confidence we made the right choice due to the positive reviews but we could not have been let down more for the price we paid. Our experience was particularly disappointing due to the property being unmaintained specifically in the following areas: -The property and our double room was infested with flies. -No Wifi Access / AC in our double room in the 'old house. -The pool looked liked it had not been cleaned therefor could not use it. -The room was damp which made the paint from the ceiling chip off into our belongings and bedding area. -The house lost power on the last evening; there was no generator. After chasing down the manager, we got put in a different and more comfortable room.

Pros: The ambiance is very relaxed. Not so many rooms (10?) so it is always quiet. Lovely grounds and an excellent swimming pool. Comfy rooms with good aircon. Breakfast is quite good but I think the coffee could be improved on. Evening meals are honest rather than high-end, but they are quite good value at 19 Euros. The paella night and steak nights are the best. House wine at 8 Euros is excellent.
Cons: Freshly squeezed juice would be a nice addition at breakfast.

The old house is nicely decorated, warming and peaceful. You will find high quality toiletry in the bathrooms. Ferreries is vell positioned in the Island if you want to discover the southern and northern beaches and much more.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean and the buffet food in the restaurant was always varied, delicious and beautifully presented. The entertainment staff worked hard to include everybody in the daytime and evening activities.

Pros: It was easy to find, cheap to stay, and had very thing I needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was included but wasn't good. Spent extra money to have a dinner at one of the nearby sister-hotels, and went through the pains of making a reservation and getting dressed up for it, but it was only a buffet with decent food.

Pros: A Very Good Quality Hotel with Friendly and Helpful staff, particularly at the Reception and in the Restaurant, to enhance ones stay. The location allows easy access to the City Centre and the Bus Station for local and Island travel. The spacious Double Room with Jacuzzi was very comfortable and well serviced however; the air-conditioning cooling facility appears not to function for the winter period. The Restaurant served an extensive choice of very good hot and cold dishes for both Breakfast and Dinner. The enclosed Roof-top Pool with panoramic city Views was very pleasant and usable. The time of year also allowed easy usage of the Sauna, Hammam and Jacuzzi.

Cons: Scaffolding, Restaurant was not open (not told until arrival)in the evening and this was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel as have stayed at Artiem hotels before and food usually good . My room had a small balcony which had a VERY close view of a VERY tatty neighbouring building , where they could see you , and you could see into their bedrooms (not a pretty sight ) with washing hanging everywhere ...the room could in this respect been even cheaper and I was not told when arriving that I could upgrade for a very small amount etc , both cooks who prepare fresh omelettes / eggs do not speak a word of English and when I requested on two out of three days I was given something didn’t ask for ...it’s a shame as ONE of the ladies had a friendly face etc but any nationality should know you must cook an egg until the clear colours to white / yellow

Free parking right in front of the hotel (first come first served basis) Good selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. Nice pool area & solarium.
Cons: Would be nice if the hot tubs were heated. Rooftop bar wasn't open in October so difficult to get a drink up there. In-room coffee/tea etc was complimentary for the first night only. The layout of the room is very modern and slightly 'open plan' with the sink being in the bedroom itself for example-not to everyone's taste.

Pros: The room was clean and spacious - the bed was huge and comfortable. The shower cubicle was large and the shower was powerful. Not happy with having to pay 3euros per day for a safe though! Toiletries were basic, but did include an emergency toothbrush and toothpaste which is a nice touch. Free parking just outside, and in October, when we stayed, there was always a space available except for the Saturday night, so don't worry about paying 81euros upfront for parking for the week - you can use the gated car park and pay per day. The spa area is clean and offers a range of lovely treatments. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay and I would definitely recommend paying the extra for this. Breakfast was a good range and fresh every day. Would stay again if we revisit Menorca.

Pros: Lovely Hotel. Very clean and modern. Sea view room chosen and well worth it. Good choice at breakfast and food hotter than many self-service hotels visited in the past. All staff were really friendly. Location good and near to the harbour. Short walk to bus stop for Mahon where you can then travel further afield if you want to explore and don't want to hire a car. Can walk to Mahon in about 45 mins if preferred. Buses as usual in Spanish places, very punctual and cheap.
Cons: Coffee in rooms not replenished daily. Asked at reception who advised that one person did the cleaning and another the cups but nobody provided anything to put in them unless asking at reception! Pictures advertising the Hotel show the lovely Sky Bar and hot tubs (a real selling point as it looks amazing and draws you in). It is also described as being near many bars and restaurants. Admittedly we weren't over-fortunate with the weather as we went in later October, but the Sky bar was closed (not the area, just the bar) and the hot tubs were cold even if we had had better weather and had wanted to use the facilities. I appreciate that it is near the end of season, but the price should have maybe reflected this more and when booking it should be made clear that these facilities may not be available at certain times. Regarding the close-by restaurant and bars, these too were mainly closed so limiting the enjoyment of the evening stroll and dining. Once again, near the end of season, so bookers, just beware! If you want good cheap food and a small British pub type of bar, go to Snoopys, 2nd road up behind the end of the harbour (road up from taxi stand).

Pros: This hidden gem of a hotel is perfect for a long weekend alone or with a partner. I really enjoyed the nice layout of the villa with its superb balcony overlooking the bay, perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of white wine after a full day of exploring the island. There is a peaceful quietness and very friendly vibe to the hotel. The staff were very kind and always smiling. A huge "thank you" to them for every bit of advice as to which beach to visit and how to get there. I would strongly advice to rent your own car if you would like to explore this wonderful island. Otherwise there is a very convenient shuttle at the hotel that takes you to and from Mahon and a nearby beach. It parts 3 times a day, everyday (at 11am, 3pm and 7pm).
Cons: Perhaps my only advice to the management of the hotel would be to provide guests with transportation to and from the airport which is only 15 minutes away. Apart from that everything was perfect!

Pros: It was a beautiful and very quiet location. It was exactly what we wanted for the second half of our holiday after a full on sailing first week. Other people may find the location too quiet. It is not in Mahon itself or within walking distance but the hotel put on a courtesy bus that offer transport and pick up to Mahon and a lovely beach at regular times each day. This was an excellent service. Food and drinks were good value and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back.

Options at both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and we liked the chefs that were there to cook to order (eggs for breakfast and various meats and fish at dinner).
Cons: The gym was spacious but lacked equipment in particular workout benches. The entertainment in the evening was very amateurish and aimed at the children.

Pros: The place was spotless. Buffet for all three meals, fair selection and variety. The family of tiny tortoises in the garden are lovely. The kids playroom is great. It's on a hill but its a very gentle incline down to town/beach - a ten min stroll.
Cons: If you are in the two bedroom suites (there are two of them, rooms 138 and 238) they have fab views but be aware they are immediately above the "stage" and very noisy at night. The entertainment does finish by 10.30 - 11pm each night and then it's quiet. Swimming pool is a little cold as it's in the shade for parts of the day but we went late Sep and it was still doable! The entertainment is a bit naff/"Brits Abroad" (karaoke, tribute acts etc) but each to their own, just not our thing!

Pros: The whole resort was fantastic, we had a great time. There was something for everyone. The animation team were brilliant! They were professional, happy and friendly who invited you to participate in what you wanted to do during the day and evening. The apartment had everything you needed. We were in a one bedroom apartment and that was enough for 2 people, to have more would have been a little tight. The resort was fresh, clean and well maintained. The local supermarket which had a cafe was only across the road with a good choice of food and drink. A short walk to the marina where all the restaurants and shops were all lovely and then a further walk to the beautiful beach with clear shallow water. Highly recommend this resort and we would go again.
Cons: We were on the first floor with a balcony and we didn’t like the people in the apartment under us smoking cigarettes on their terrace which prevented us from sitting on our balcony in the evenings but that is not the resorts fault. It is something I absolutely hate!

The restaurant was clean and food was ok, sometimes too salty but it was ok enough. They also had a seperate area for kids menu and they also had childrens cutlery. Pool was clean and had to of toys and floats for children to play with, always had a lifeguard on duty. Bouncy castle and mini playground was ok. Hotel transfers booked via the hotel was on time and effecient.

Pros: We did the half-board and would recommend it, the food was incredible and absolutely receive your money's worth. The fruit was so fresh -- and it's great to be able to try different things and know you can rely on that for breakfast. The staff is wonderful and we did an ocean view room with a sea bath, and would absolutely recommend. The view is phenomenal and gets a great breeze, don't skimp out on this one! :) Bath is also huge and wonderful. We did the spa for two, and super reasonably priced (we are Americans).
Cons: We found the A/C to not work super well and the bed was not the comfiest. Probably our only complaint.
