Great new carpet
Needs a dusting
Very friendly host. Very comfortable accommodation. Very generous and tasty breakfast.
Nothing needs improving.
Beautiful country style, wonderful ambiance and the hosts went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Highly recommend this place. The hostess went the extra mile with breakfast as I have special dietary requirements.
Nothing All good
Friendly reception, lovely location, a good night’s sleep, lovely breakfast – Thank you!
There was nothing not to like.
Breakfast lovely, really tasty and plentiful. Bed super comfy. Hosts wonderful. Super close to uni, which was perfect, yet just away from the hustle and bustle. This is the owners family home, and it is a beautiful one. If, like us, you prefer personal, individual hotel experiences, rather than the usual, impersonal same-old bog standard 'clinical' chain hotels, then this is for you. The house is truly a home, and we were welcomed and enjoyed genuine hospitality - and a fair bit of banter! We appreciated and loved this quirky, traditional and personality filled place. Its nice to know your money is supporting smaller, family businesses like these. I will definitely not consider staying elsewhere if I return to Exeter. Thanks Rebecca - you're wonderful, funny and such a genuine person! Thank you, Vicky and Molly.
Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. Yes, sure you could put in the fancy showers etc., etc., but risk losing your individuality and identity. For what you charge, its great value and worth every penny. Beige is bland - beige you most certainly are not!
