Big scamCons:I was quoted a price of $70+. When we arrived in Mexico, the real price was over $300 so didn’t take the car. Very irritating!Reviewed Jan 5 2018

OkayPros:Easy, clean, fast, friendly.Cons:Pressured to buy extra insurance with no explanation of what was covered. Made my rental go from $25 to $180 for a week. Online quote not what actual price for rental wasPros:I liked that it would only have cost us $13 per day to rent a car in Mexico. But that turned out not to be the truthCons:I didn't like that the actual rental was about $100 a day. In the end we decided not to rent the car and just took a shuttle into town. Felt Ripped Off!Pros:New VW Jetta was comfortable and cleanCons:I had been quoted online $55.00 for 6 days. But at the rental I was told I had to take mandatory insurance that brought the charge to $285.00! I felt that was a ripoff but they would not let me have the car unless I agreed. I had no choice. If in fact this kind of insurance cost is required in Mexico, it should at least be disclosed on the website. I have a suspicion though it should not have been that expensive and I got ripped off.Reviewed Mar 17 2017
