The location and the breakfast are fantastic.
Staff were all very helpful and friendly and had free upgrade
The terrace is fantastic, along with the fountain in the middle of the ground floor courtyard.
Perhaps 1 more couches needed for a comfortable breakfast for all guests. Also if rooftop breakfast be fostered or pre organized, though understand if the penthouse is booked this is difficult
The breakfast was lovely, the riad organised for someone to collect us from the bus which was much appreciated.
This was one of the noisiest riads we stayed in in Morocco, maybe because it has so many rooms and the wind causes doors to constantly bang shut. The room could have been cleaner, there was a presence of cleaning staff however there was one hair in the bathrooom that remained there from day one - to day 5!
The Riad was simple and authentic with very friendly and helpful staff and the proprietor booked several activities for us, for example a visit to a Hammam, a camel ride and also recommended good restaurants.
The location could have been in a more open street.
Very friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, simple and fresh design that provided a calm and comfortable nest for our stay in Essaouira. Would very happily stay here again and would recommend it to all except families with young children, just for practical reasons.
The location of the hotel was very good. A minutes walk to the centre of the medina and about 10-15 minutes to the beach.
During the morning when guests were leaving their rooms it was very noisy. The bolts on the doors particularly reverberated round the riad when being opened and closed. The room was small for three adults and the description "superior triple" was misleading.
Very pretty small hotel with traditional architecture and lovely furnishings. Great staff, they collected us from the bus station and were always friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. It was the only hotel we stayed in in Morocco which provided bottled water and complimentary shampoo etc in the room!
We had a wonderful stay in Riad Malaika. Piermark and Sylvie and their staff are excellent hosts, we felt almost like a king and queen. Beautiful rooms and roof terrace and a very nice breakfast with homemade crepes and fresh orange juice. We absolutely recommend Riad Malaika!
