Pros: Two genuinely friendly, professional young men helped me for pick up and drop off. The first rented me a nicer vehicle at the Compact price I was quoted. Enterprise is usually great, but this was likely the most comfortable, easygoing experience I've had at an Enterprise. Last minute rental and great value for the money, too.
Pros: I made the reservation at the last min. They still had a vehicle ready for me at a great price!
Cons: Service was a bit brash... They receptionist need too much additional information and took us off our schedule to leave early and beat traffic.
Close to 5 stars, but just a few things to make it less!
Pros: The car itself was great. Great new model, super clean with fantastic gas mileage, plus they gave us a free upgrade so we had a bigger car for our road trip! The employee we worked with was super sweet also.
Cons: When we got there (an hour later than we said we would pickup) the car was still being cleaned so we had to wait for them to finish cleaning it (but it wasn't too terribly long at least). Also, the tire pressure was low (light on the dashboard) and the windshield wiper fluid was almost out (with the warning sign clearly seen on the screen behind the steering wheel) when we got the car. That should be taken care of before we get the car, and unfortunately we didn't realize it until we started driving. The windshield also had awful wipers that was hard to see while driving in the rain.
Nice vehicle, questionable service
Cons: The woman at the counter claimed she called our home prior to the reservation time to let us know they did not have the vehicle we reserved. When we returned home, we saw the message was left after our reservation time. We did settle on a smaller vehicle. Thankfully it did suit our needs well. We had to ask them to adjust the price. It was not offered, which seems wrong. When a reservation is made, it only seems reasonable that the customer receive what they requested or that a price adjustment be offered.
Pros: It was good. No problems.
Terrible Communication and Customer Service
Pros: Almost nothing. The Sirius XM radio possibly all that was really good about this experience.
Cons: I wasn't told I needed a credit card to rent the SUV (Toyota Rav 4) that I had reserved more than 2 weeks prior. It's terribly upsetting to have this thrown at you the day you come in to pick up your car. Really poor communication and a condescending rental agent who asked for my supervisor's number as a contact. I'm a home owner of 16 years, I have had the same car insurance since 1991 with USAA, I am employed by one of the largest technology companies in the world for nearly 4 years and still I am not allowed a small SUV!?. What is the justification for the punishment? Why are SUV's held back from women with debit cards??? I called my boyfriend who had done exactly what I had tried to do, rent an SUV with a debit card and was not only given the SUV, was told he could go pick out the car he wanted off the lot. This is sexist and discriminatory. I'll never be back and I will tell this story far and wide. Bye Enterprise!
Great service by Joe
Pros: Joe had great costumer service. Would be happy to do business with him again
They Always Do the Upsell - don't they?
Pros: The staff was friendly and efficient. The price was good. Newish car and clean car. I bought the extra insurance because I forgot to check my own policy and credit card benefits to really understand what is covered.
Cons: They always want to sell you the extra insurance and extra gas :) It's really not a problem just have to be firm and polite while declining. All rental cars companies do this - so not unique to Enterprise or this location.
