Great location and great restaurant.
Perfectly adequate breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the countryside. Dinner was on the terrace looking over to the Wartburg castle. Staff could not have been more helpful adjusting the main course to suit my gluten intolerance. Because it is located on top of a hill the 20 minute walk down to the town takes a bit longer on the way up but there is a convenient car park at the bottom of the hill off Johann Sebastian Bach Strasse if you want to use your car.
Wonderful staff, view and an relaxing atmosphere Don't miss the Bachmuseum in town and the castle The restaurant is not bad at all the have an great wienerschnitzel and some great vines We hade have room with an extra Salong and a great view of the valley
The breakfast could have been a little more fancy. And it would have been great not to have coffee from the coffee machin.
Fantastic views from the dining room and great access to trails. Rooms are a traditional design and well maintained. Very comfortable bed.
Desk chair was comfortable but too large for the room, making access to bed difficult.
Staff were very friendly and the location up in the trees was gorgeous!
