Pros: The location of the guesthaus is excellent. Parking at the guesthaus premises. Staff was really nice and helpful. The area is great for bike tours between vinaries and town is full of stork nests.
Cons: Breakfast was OK, but not more. No air condition. It was 34 degrees during our stay and the fan in the room was good but extremely noisy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, convenient and delicious breakfast. Very comfortable sheets and pillows. Beautiful rooms and helpful staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The traditional property in the centre of town has been tastefully restored to provide modern comforts. Our room had a small balcony with table & chairs and a well-equipped kitchen area plus a large bathroom. Very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast served in the converted cellar. We also enjoyed a free sampling of their delicious wines in their traditional & welcoming wine bar area. In addition there is a charming separate terrace and kitchen area with drinks and snacks for the use of guests(wines etc available for purchase). Would happily return and stay longer to explore this beautiful area of France.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant hotel, amazing location!
7,9 Good
Pros: This is a large property situated in the immediate vicinity of the village center. To accommodate my arrival outside the reception working hours, I received exhaustive instructions on where to park and how to get there, accompanied by post-its with my name leading to the booked room. The room was spacious and comfortable and included a large floor fan to deal with the summer heat.
Cons: Despite the very good first impression and the fact that the inside of the property is renovated to contemporary standards, the bathroom had a peculiar odor. Due to the compact nature of the village, the window overlooked a back alley and the dull wall of the adjacent building. The morning staff seemed to be comprised of just one person with little to no English skills, in sweatpants and flip-flops, who would serve you mediocre coffee from a all-in-one machine while also getting one for themselves, run the noisy dishwasher while other guests had breakfast, handle payments and clean the rooms.
7,9 Good
Pros: I liked the cleanliness, the situation in the middle of the town, the bed is extra comfortable and the breakfast was good. The room was well heated and silent. I was happy with what I got. Degustations of wines free :)
Cons: I saw some advertisement for accomodations in the town which make me think I could find the same kind of room for a much cheaper price. Do they have the same quality, I will never know. The breakfast was awesome the first day but on the second day, the tables weren't set and the pancake pasta was missing. Not a big deal just not the same person who had prepared everything.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Everything apart from the woman on charge of breakfast
Cons: Woman in charge of breakfast not helpful or sympathetic...if hotel wants details, ask them to contact
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything. Brilliant large room in the grounds of the winery in the vibrant historic town of Eguisheim. Perfect location, room was a great size and well set up for a longer stay. We could do our own laundry with generous facilities provided. Very Comfortable bed. Facilities all very clean, lovely breakfast and a treasured car park space in the grounds of the building courtyard.
Cons: Perfect stay
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the centre of the town
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent! The hosts were lovely and very generous to their guests. Everything was lovely and very well thought out.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed very welcoming helpful staff good selection for breakfast
Cons: The shower was over the bath which wasn’t a problem except the bracket was too low to stand under and there wasn’t a screen or curtain so wasn’t really usable. The staff did inform us that they were going to upgrade the bathrooms in the near future
10,0 Excellent
Pros: View, clean and quiet area, comfortable, receptionist was really nice
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is very picturesque, right next to the vineyards. You can walk out of the hotel and go across the fields, or bike to Colmar through the village roads and be there in just 15 minutes. The staff was very helpful in resolving the questions that we had, and when we forgot our kid's bedtime book after checking out, they immediately called us, which allowed us to turn around and pick it up before we drove too far away (much appreciated!).
Cons: We found the breakfast to be lacking in choice and a bit chaotic in terms of how it's served. For a vegetarian person, there wasn't much to enjoy, and if you try to keep your kids off sugar, then again the choices were extremely limited. We left some feedback about this at the hotel and they were very receptive, so I think the breakfast will improve pretty soon!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Location is an easy walk to central Eguisheim. Rooms were pleasant. Breakfast was above average. (Extra charge for optional dine-in breakfast). The sunroom in which breakfast is served is quite nice. The property is verdant, with surrounding vineyards. The ground floor rooms have French doors out onto semi-private patios. Picnic tables on the back lawns for anyone.
Cons: Because this is a small (family run?) hotel, check-in time is pretty limited (4-7 or 4-9 I think). We knew this, but public transit from Colmar to Eguisheim is infrequent, so our choices were to get into town 3 hours before check-in or around 6pm. We chose the former as we didn’t feel like lugging our bags around Colmar either. We rang the bell, and someone helpfully let us store our luggage there until checkin so we could get lunch and wander the town. But we felt bad since we were interrupting their housekeeping/back-room-tasks/lunch break time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location just outside of the village, amidst the vineyards was perfect. It was easy to park and only a very short walk to a good selection of restaurants. Breakfast was excellent! I also enjoyed the pool.
Cons: A fixed shower head over the bath, with screen or curtain, would have prevented us from flooding the floor!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location close to grape field is comfortable. Staff is very kind.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent position and good little swimming pool. Good breakfast.
Cons: WiFi not available in room. Staff helpful but not friendly. Couldn’t check in until 16.00.

Pros: Marvelous old historic building that been beautifully renovated. Perfect location. Excellent parking at reasonable pricing. Overall one of our best choices ever.
7,1 Good
Pros: Historic building and the excellent welcome from reception staff, who came to meet us in the car park.
Cons: Neither restaurant was open on a Monday
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfection
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Room was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: Staff were quite formal. We were told there was a turn down service between 8 and 9 each evening but only happened once. Breakfast manager was harried trying to take care of all the guests while also cooking eggs etc. we dined in both restaurants and felt the Michelin restaurant was more pretentious and not worth the cost
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The good points that we found where Fantastic room Lovely pool Lovely scenic views of the lake Great beach area Porter who picked up our car and parked it in the hotel garage. Location and facilities where perfect.
Cons: I know we had not booked a table but there was no table available that evening which I find not acceptable after a long journey! but the hotel found another local restaurant which was great. The prices on the menu, bar etc was extremely high so if you are looking for a cost effective holiday then no, or eat out and enjoy. Also if you like to dress down then this is not a place to visit.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Hotel Restaurant and Bistro unavailable for guests. Guests need to eat outside in a street bistro or in their room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our dinner in the brassiere was superb and the staff were excellent.
7,5 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed, courteous and helpful staff, excellent location
Cons: Restaurant closed (we weren't aware when we booked that this would happen) and brasserie was booked out the day we arrived, and was closed the night before our departure. No washbasin in toilet.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Sluggish service
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, right at the heart of the historic town of Colmar & in a beautiful historic house. The rooms are very comfortable & quiet & staff courteous & helpful. The brasserie restaurant within the hotel is very good - delicious regional specialities alongside a range of dishes catering for all tastes. They were particularly helpful in providing information & alternatives for gluten & dairy intolerance.
Cons: The buffet breakfast had a range of tasty pastries/breads and the meat, fish & cheese selection was of a high quality. For a hotel of this standard however, it was disappointing to find limited labelling of cereals & other products (milks) making it tricky to choose gluten/lactose/egg free options. I appreciated the gluten-free bread that was provided on request.

7,9 Good
Pros: Clean modern Hotel that is very well located, (300m to Little Venice). Friendly staff and excellent underground parking right underneath Hotel. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Room was on the small side and very dismayed to see that they allowed dogs in the Restaraunt at Breakfast = DISGUSTED !!!!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Requested the new wing and had an immaculate small, quiet room with desk, power outlet and good light. Good WiFi. Great shower. Lift. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. Open courtyard. Bar next to reception. About 500 m from Petite Venice. Helpful reception staff.
Cons: The hard mattress. Location: bit of a boring street with no cafes/bars close-by. Stingy!!!! even no milk for the really tiny amount of in-room tea/coffee left; no bathroom essentials -viz tissues. Not that close from train station - especially with luggage - or easy to find, on foot.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: It’s really a nice hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with parking. Very comfortable and quiet.
Cons: Can't think of anything.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is how a real hotel should be: comfortable, nice rooms, nice furniture, good breakfast and friendly service. Value for money!
Cons: Toilet could have been cleaner (some dust/ spider webs not removed). While one could take breakfast until 10.30, furniture was already removed while people had breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: New and clean hotel. The hotel has plenty of free parking. Standard size rooms. Good breakfast. Located outside the town of Colmar 8 minutes by car. Not far from the hotel there are fast food restaurants and stores of huge chains. Easy access to traffic routes so the hotel is suitable for star trips. Very reasonable price for the hotel.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: All new and very modern
Cons: Very far from the city center and very difficult to get taxi
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I’ve never get such a great reception information before
7,3 Good
Pros: Bed was best ever in a hotel. Hotel generally is much nicer actually is better than what you would expect from a 3 star hotel (or from its outside appearance).
Cons: From outside it looks like a cheesy adult hotel, not very tasteful.
6,7 Good
Pros: The room.bed.bathroom fantastic breakfast
Cons: The satnav could not locate the hotel
9,6 Excellent
Cons: The location, although right by a main highway, was in more of an industrial area, with little restaurant options close by.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Easy acces. Clean. Good breakfast.
Cons: No restaurant in the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We always stay at this hotel it is spotlessly clean staff are helpful and the bonus is having the coffee nespresso machine in the room. There is always plenty of parking spaces as well. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we have never taken it.

Hôtel Le Colombier - Colmar - Building

8,8 Excellent (1 696 reviews)

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel Le Colombier, you'll be centrally located in Colmar, within a 5-minute walk of Little Venice and Colmar Covered Market. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and comfortable bed.
Cons: Parking space is very limited. Public parking is not the most convenient option.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Not a very large selection at breakfast but fresh, bread was lovely. Slight mix up - there was a heavy weight duvet on our bed, too warm for me. I asked for the addition of a Top Sheet, so I could use it while husband used duvet. Came back that evening to find lovely sheet but no duvet! Night Porter/Receptionist went to a lot of trouble to help. However he could only find what I would describe as a baby duvet!! Room was basic, but very nice - had coffee machine. Great to have toilet and bathroom separate. Has a small garage, which you need to pre-book.
Cons: More choice for the breakfast and fresh juice would have been nice. We decided to share a bottle of wine one evening, but they only had half bottles, which made it a little expensive. Lighting not marvellous in the bathroom if you are trying to put make up on, but not a big issue.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was right in the middle of everything so it was perfect for us traveling with a small child. The rooms were clean and breakfast was just what we needed. The staff was also very helpful and they always had smiling faces. We would stay here again.
Cons: It's not the cheapest place in Colmar, but you get good value for your money. If you're willing to spend a little more for great location, great staff, clean rooms, and a nice breakfast then definitely stay here.
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice rooms - recently added to the property
Cons: Since the rooms are on the opposite site of the road, you have to walk a short time for reception and breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location of hotel was ideally located
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and large enough room. Very well located - next to the central part of the town and in the immediate vicinity of the Little Venice quarter. Lovely breakfast. Very polite and friendly staff. There is a private parking, but not very large, so it is better to reserve a place in advance.
Cons: There is no such.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious! Staff was super helpful. Location can’t be beat. Would definitely stay again if we came back.
7,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Really liked the self-serve coffee machine that made all kinds of coffee with the push of a button.
Cons: Our room was supposed to be a suite, but it was narrow with sloping ceilings, so we were always crouching under the beams to get around. Furthermore, the bathroom was up a flight of metal steps, which were hard to navigate at night.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The location and the staff. And the cleanliness.
Cons: Our rooms were across the street from the main hotel where the lobby, services, and dining room were. The hotel is TOO modern. It's for young people with money. The elevator is hard to find because the sign indicating it's not clear. As in many hotels, the key operates the electricity and one is left in total darkness if you remove the key to go to sleep. The closet is hard to find because of the sleekness of the design.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good location.
Cons: No elevator! Female staff had to help with hauling our 50-lb bag up 4 flights of stairs. Hotel parking garage was too small to accommodate our car (one step above smallest Hertz car). TV in room was hung from a wall parallel to the bed and not easily viewable from room furniture without rearranging it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff and spacious rooms. Great location.
Hostellerie Le Marechal - Colmar - Building

Located in Colmar (Colmar Centre Ville), Hôtel le Maréchal is within a 5-minute walk of Little Venice and Colmar Covered Market. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Colmar? This hotel has facilities measuring 323 square feet (30 square meters), including a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: excellent location and very good breakfast
Cons: old building likes a puzzle and many steps
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in the 2 bedroom annex room. It was beautiful, great view of the canal and clean, large and modern rooms.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: WIFI is a joke. Also, there should be a way to get ice yourself.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, it's picture perfect. Superb dining room /restaurant. High quality food.
Cons: More information from the hotel about arriving by car. Its restricted access for cars and I emailed twice to ask if it would be possible to drop bags off before we parked and never received an answer. So we had to park first some distance away as we didn't dare risk getting stuck in a small cobbled street with nowhere to go! then find the hotel, then check in and move the car and bags to the hotel parking some distance away. It could have been made a lot easier if the hotel had communicated with us as requested. It was quite an unnecessary stress. Information for anyone else it is possible to park outside the hotel to allow bags to be dropped off and then proceed to the official hotel garage some distance away. I just wish someone had explained the procedure to us.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: We liked the staff, they very helpful and generous. The location is, of course, perfect being in the historic part of Colmar, on the water
Cons: The door to the toilet was a rather strange sliding door which offered little sound isolation
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Decor
Cons: No coffee making facilities in room
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location couldn’t be better, room comfortable, bathroom very decent.
Cons: We stayed in the annex. Anyone who does so has to feel not part of the hotel. This matters because, while the lobby of the hotel is warm and enticing, the passage way and staircase to the bedrooms in the annex are shabby and worthy of a 1 star hotel, not a 4 star hotel. It creates and leaves a ver bad impression.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ancient building with modern amenities. Excellent food although the menu was a little limited. Staff friendly and helpful. Phenomenal shower and lovely big bath towels. Very close to areas of interest, shops and restaurants.
7,5 Good
Pros: I had a wonderful view of the canal. Room was chiq and bed linens were wonderfully fluffy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We paid extra fee at the front desk to ask for upgrade. It turns out to be well worth the money. Canal view from window was soooo beautiful. We used the spa tube. It was comfortable.
Cons: Nothing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It is just spot on in a perfect location, super breakfast, very friendly staff, our second stay here.

Pros: Room was great! Bed comfortable. Location perfect. Anthony was very helpful and friendly! He made dinner reservations for us across the street and dinner was delicious.
7,9 Good
Cons: Bathroom needs to be updated
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Well located with parking. Excellent welcome and customer service throughout our stay. Room clean and comfortable.
Cons: We were in a room with a connecting door to the next room. These are the only two rooms in the hotel like this and when we booked it was the last room left. Despite having two doors between the rooms, the Sound proofing wasn‘t great. We will happily stay again but just would‘n‘t choose this room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good big breakfast and nice location.
7,5 Good
Pros: Perfect location to walk to the old portion of town, which is quaint and beautiful.
Cons: Very small bathroom. Hardly enough room to turn around in. Shower was inside the tub which had very high sides. Difficult and dangerous getting in and out.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good location; nice size room. This is an older property which has been nicely refurbished.
Cons: The hotel is at a corner; this is an older city. The sidewalk was very minimal when walking out of the hotel. And, the AC was an open window ( it the hotel provided a fan).

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location. Breakfast.
Cons: Bare minimum of supplies in bathroom. No tissues. Hangers in wardrobe did not include any on which men’s pants could be hung.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good French breakfast with the facility to individually boil an egg. The location was close enough to the village centre to be walkable and convenient from the main access road. Car parking was a modest 4€ per day at the back of the Hotel. A lift would have been helpful but installation may be impractical in an old building, which had also been tastefully updated. The bedrooms also had tea and coffee making facilities and free bottled water.
Cons: Nothing. It was as near perfection for such an Hotel.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location is good, parking very convenient.
Cons: Location is good for visiting the town, but as the hotel is central there was early morning noise. As the room didn’t have air conditioning, the window was open and so were woken early.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect in the center of the tourist area of Colmar. The restaurant next door is excellent. Breakfast assortment was very nice, and we even had a nice balcony in our room!
Cons: Each person we encountered at the reception desk could use a lesson on tourism hospitality - greeting people, the basics, etc. It was a noticeable difference compared to the other nine locations we stayed in France.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: A friendly and helpful welcome when we arrived after a long day of travelling. Conveniently we were able to park in front of the hotel. Hotel has a great location in the centre of town, lots of restaurants closed on Sunday night but we still managed to eat well. We would like to revisit Colmar for a longer stay and will certainly stay here when we do.

Pros: historic central location, charming surroundings, convenient to multiple restaurants, pleasant walking. Near to other villages that are also quite charming.
Cons: street parking can be quite challenging. the streets are very narrow and challenging to navigate for those unfamiliar with the layout.

Pros: The hotel is situated on a beautiful cobblestone street in the heart of cute, quaint Colmar. If you visit in December, you'll also be staying next to one of the Christmas markets!
Cons: Breakfast is not included, so just something to be aware of.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly situated in the centre of the lovely town of Colmar, very friendly staff, clean and spacious room. Nice breakfast - try the croissants!
Cons: It can be a bit noisy by night - downside of being smack in the heart of a lively place like Colmar
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Did not dine at the hotel. Loved the location and the staff was most helpful. Bed was a bit too soft but we had an enjoyable time .
Cons: The room keys were hard to operate, probably could use a little graphite or whatever to make them work smoothly.
6,3 Good
Pros: Ideally located in the very centre of Colmar. Car park nearby. Room overlooking typical Alsatian street.
6,5 Good
Pros: It is well maintained for such and old hotel
Cons: Mattress could be newer
5,6 Okay
Pros: Location was excellent for seeing Colmar.
Cons: Hotel staff was less than helpful. Said that giving us directions from the train station was too hard so we were on our own.
6,0 Good
Pros: An old hotel in the centre of Colmar with lots of character. Our bedroom was comfortable, but quite noisy until early morning being right in the centre of the old town.
Cons: We missed air conditioning as it was particularly hot whilst there - but what do you expect in a 400 year old hotel!

Cons:
4,4 Okay
Pros: Very central - well sign-posted within the town
Cons: The parking situation is difficult. The carpark is heavily used by tourists to the town so getting a space is very difficult. I'm also not sure that parking is free (as mentioned on website) as there are parking meters in the carpark.

Pros: We loved the location, the management and staff were very friendly and hospitable and the restaurant food was excellent (it was so good and generous that we ate there both nights).
Cons: After such excellent restaurant meals we were disappointed in the basic continental breakfasts provided.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely 17th century building right in the center of Eguisheim. Room (#2) was big and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, and we felt very welcome.
Cons: Parking has to be a short walk (5-7 minutes) away, but this is general for most hotels in Eguisheim. No air conditioning - however there was a fan.

Pros: It was a pleasure to be right inside the walls of this beautiful town with all the restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. You do however need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Check in was easy and parking close. Would highly recommend staying here.
Cons: Our one room on the front side of the property was a bit noisy even though it was on the second floor
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect - right in the middle of town. Its a very comfortable hotel and has a very good restaurant. The breakfast was really good and dinner at the restaurant was very good.
Cons: Internet is not in the rooms but only in the lobby area. the TV is very small.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was convenient and the amount of food on offer was very adequate. The restaurant staff were very friendly.
Cons: I would have liked more variety in the pastries, jams (preserves) and fruit juices on offer.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Position is excellent right in Riquewihr. Staff was excellent pleasant
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We couldn’t love this place anymore, the front desk was super helpful and offered Great advice on places to eat and visit. Our room was spectacular, we were in the newer building, but still had the old world charm we were craving. The bathroom was large with a wonderful soaking tub. The location was perfect for exploring Riquewihr.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: actually it’s the first hotel I can tell it is better than the pictures!!! Riquewihr itself is out of this world so the whole experience was awesome I can tell.. the hotel is soooo cozy.. the restaurant serving breakfast is sooo authentic.. lobby is lovely.. staff is amazing.. the room window was sooo pretty.. Would definitely love to be back to this extra ordinary place
Cons: No elevator to the rooms so u carry your own luggage.. internet is limited to lobby area, which actually I couldn’t consider as a bad thing though!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location! Charming rooms!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: Nothing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It's even difficult to describe Riquewihr. It's a time travel to medieval times and it's difficult to choose what to look at. And the hotel is there, inside the medieval city. That's what's to say about the location! Then: perfectly clean rooms, very nice bathroom with a good shower, good bed. The staff was also super friendly! Thank you!
Cons: Would only point that breakfast included would turn the value for money just on the perfect point! Nothing more to point!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: FOOD in restaurant was excellent !
Cons: No WiFi in rooms, only in reception ;-(

Pros: Location excellent. Few steps into the old quters. Rooms spaciouse enough but noisy. Free minibar although very limited. Breakfast sufficient variety ( for us). Staff, despite lack of English, very friendly and do their best to be helpfull. Parking is nearby and can be arranged in advance. Colmar as a city is fantastic. Great visit.
Cons: The room was not as spotless clean as we excpect hotels to be. The towels were clean but old, with shreds of fabric coming out. The carpets could use an extra vaccuming. Wi Fi exists but is slow. The safe didnt work and the staff couldn't fix it. Breakfast veg and fruits
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanness, seems like an old one even it looks renovated. I expected much more than I found after seeing te pictures in booking.com. I think the price was too high for the service given
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a quirky little gem ! Beautiful
Cons: Clean , central location
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was great. Warm & friendly service too.
Cons: Hotel in need of TLC from management. Better quality towels would fit 4 star status as would functioning fridge & safe. Plus, more attention to level of cleanliness/tidiness in breakfast room would be good... cereals & dried fruit containers were uncovered during the day, which was off putting especially as there was an issue with flies. Previous guest had mentioned these areas for improvement so bit perplexed that action wasn’t taken to remedy.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellently and conveniently located in the center of the city; charmingly decorated and designed; room very quiet and original; staff very competent and helpful.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, room was big and convenient, clean,
Cons: We got ground floor room which we didn’t like so much

7,9 Good
Pros: Welcomed, upgraded.
Cons: Air conditioning clunky. Shower leaked under the door. Had to close windows because of the noise from the street and church bells.

Pros: Fairly decent hotel with good breakfast Good location just steps from old town Friendly staffs
Cons: We were given a room at the top level, very small in size and with awkward columns. The toilet and bathroom are two separate cells in different locations of the room. Pretty inconvenient, after using the toilet, have to come out and get into the bathroom for hand washing. A bit pricey, not the best value for money

Pros: Very clean and close to the old town sites
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Colmar is beautiful and well worth a visit. This hotel is inexpensive and is a relaxed, modern, clean facility with limited but valuable parking slots. Tea and coffee making facilities in room was a bonus. A good fast food/bistro chicken joint was 100 yards away as was a very nice bakery/patisserie.
Cons: a good fifteen minutes walk from main centre and on a fairly busy crossroads meant tackling at least 3 pedestrian crossings before getting close to town centre. Might be a bit too far for the less mobile and cant recall a lift being available to rooms even though it was only one floor meant suitcases had to be carried.
7,9 Good
Pros: Convenient, clean and lovely staff. Good breakfast with lovely fresh waffles.
Cons: Parking is too small to accommodate all cars from guests. One side of the hotel is a bit noisy, the staff was very accommodating and agreed to change rooms when we mentioned having to work in the room for a few hours.

Pros: We were quite comfortable though the room was not the one which we believed we had booked. When we asked about it, we were told it was an upgrade. I'm beginning to think this is a standard reply. The hotel is much larger than I imagined and the pool area quickly filled up.

Pros: Great Location in historic buildings, old town in walking distance - parking in a public garage at discounted rate 5 min to walk from the hotel (reservation through hotel needed) - very clean. Excellent breakfast at a reasonable rate.
Cons: Shower with curtain.
6,3 Good
Pros: Pool and wellness
Cons: Lamp shade next to our bed was not working. No trashcan in the bathroom. Complimentary water bottle only for 1? We booked for 4. Met the maid on our way out to ask for another water bottle the next day and got denied even when there was 24 bottles in her trolly. We were directed to the reception. AC hardly working We reserved a junior suite and we got a 25sqm standard room with 1 double bed and 2 extra bed installed. Coffee machine with 2 capsuls. Tried to make coffee and overflowed at first try. Coffee machine NOK. You have to manually remove your cup before it overflows. Parking terrible. Had to go to the reception to ask for the garage door opener to access our car. I had to complain to get to the main parking the next day. Breakfast not worth the 16 euros.

Pros: The pool, breakfast was great, room was fine
Cons: The location is in an industrial zone, and it badly needed some weeding and lawns done.
7,5 Good
Pros: A nice, clean hotel, accepting pets, with a good breakfast, practically situated on our route between northern Germany and southern France.
5,4 Okay
Pros: This must have been one of the saddest hotels I ever staid in. Ok for one night as sleepover for your journey. It is on the Middletown a industrial area. In the hallway there was a sewer smell. The rooms where very small but clean and there was no luxury at all. Very basic. Unfortunate the price of the room was not so basic. On the menu of the restaurant the was promised to be fresh and homemade, but be did not taste that at all. The prices of the food where very expensive. The beds where good so we slept well. The scrambled eggs at breakfast where awful and cold, the rest of breakfast was okay. For me on time only this hotel. I am used of getting a lot more for this price.
6,3 Good
Pros: We had a 3 person-room.. Nice bathroom and separate toilet.
Cons: Wifi did not work, breakfast was super crowded, screaming kids everywhere during the holiday. Is still located far outside the center of Colmar. It is easy to park in Colmar, but still overall the value was not very good.

Pros: The location is good if you're travelling by car. The room was a good size, we were 3 and yet we had enough space for luggage. The extra bed was comfy enough for the days we stayed. The parking lot was quite large and free. About the breakfast, it was really good, everything was fresh.
