Nice outdoor and indoor swimming pools
Room not cleaned on Sunday Air conditioning not working properly, not possible to stop it except by openening the window. This was told to the staff on the first day ; nobody came to repair it. Staff not smily and barely saying hello. No staff wearing a mask in the restaurant during coronavirus period.
Everyone was nice, the rooms were perfect and beautiful, lots of possibilities at the wellness section.
Overall, We enjoyed ourselves very much. The queue at the poolbar, was always long, and besides the waiting, the staff didn't reallly pay attetion to us.
In general, hotel with wellness and garden are beautiful. 1) The biggest advantage for us was that hotel is in a quiet place (2 km from the city center), surrounded by trees, so you do not see any city and hear only birds singing. It's a perfect place for the ones, who want to escape from the city. 2) Wellness part is big and clean, staff is mostly friendly. There were just a few people, so it was not overcrowded (stay during the week) and sometimes we were there alone, what's truly amazing. Pretty big outdoor part with pool. 3) You can find functioning gym with enough equipment which is open the same time as wellness. 4) It is possible to borrow board games and puzzles from the reception. 5) Most of the hotel and wellness has wi-fi coverage, what's very convenient. In general, good value for money and we have had great vacation.
1)Room's equipment is standard, while above-standard is expected in 4*(some basic equipment is missing, for example pen and paper). 2) During our stay there was water outage from 9-14, so it was uncomfortable and even after that time there was no cold water in our room, so they moved us to another one - receptionist was friendly and helpful, he took care of it without too much hesitation. The approach was okay, but there were no apologies or any compliment for caused inconvenience. 3)Next point is wellness bathrobes and towels. Per hotel rules, you receive 1 towel and robe for 3 nights stay, then they exchange it. Unfortunately, there is no place to dry it in the room, so be ready for wet towels next day or take your own from home. Also, it's not hygienic to use it 3 days in the raw. If you want to replace it earlier or loose it, they will charge you extra fee. Based on my previous experience in 3 and 4* with wellness, towels should be available without limitation as it's already included in the price. It is possible to change them for some minor fee but it makes you feel like hotel is trying to charge you extra as much as possible. 4) Some saunas were not functioning during whole stay (Finnish sauna and aroma), as well as cold shower. 5) Not diverse breakfasts. Small choice of food, maybe it's connected to the low hotel occupancy. 6) Room cleaning was not done every day, even when we put "Clean my room please" sign on the doorknob.
They didn't have warm water in the pool in February. House keeping bad. No parking for free a 4 star hotel. Same bulshit breakfast. 20 years old movies played agai and again. Stayed 9 days. Not visiting anymore. Ask for a quiet room beacaus of 9 days staying. Usually people's bookk for 2 max 3 days and woke up with cleaning personal laugh and noise next to my door. Luke warm water at the shower have to raise hell then got better . 4 star hotel? Never. Park your car on the street meanwhile parking empty.
The moment we left
At the time of the booking (for 5 nights) we confirmed with the hotel that they can provide vegan meals, as we paid for the half board option. However, when we arrived they informed us that they never had to cater anyone with vegan food and the chef had difficulty cooking for us. What they gave us for dinner was inedible, it was well below the 4 star standard. The hotel was the unfriendliest hotel we've ever been to, there was absolutely no Christmas atmosphere there. There is nothing to do at the hotel and it is way too far from the city. There is no coffee place so if you'd like to buy coffee, the receptionist would go to the back and make you one. We couldn't swim (and no guest could) at the pool as it was freezing cold. The wifi kept dropping out and there were parts of the hotel where there was no wifi at all. Talking to the manager didn't help either, he was unwilling to compensate us. We had such an unenjoyable time at this hotel that we decided to leave after 2 nights. We couldn't negotiate with the manager so we had to pay for 5 nights which made this hotel stay the worst and most expensive stay of our travelling.
