Pros (+) The apartment was MASSIVE for the money. Large rooms and a beautiful living room with wrap-around windows giving views of the channel and Edinburgh castle. Parking is secure, underground, and convenient. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean, modern, and everything worked perfectly. Cons (-) The location overlooks the canal (which is nice) but also overlooks a less nice part of town where all the traffic wardens begin and end their shifts. At about 5pm on Tuesday, we saw 15 traffic wardens converge on a small apartment across the street. It looked like some kind of raid!
