Good location, nice hostel with its own bar and merchandise. Our room was okay, the toilets were quite the walk, especially the men bathroom (I had to walk one floor up). staff was friendly, however one member of the staff just walked in the room to empty the bin without waiting for us to tell her to come in. we were still sleeping. there was also a stoppage in the drain and we didn’t really like the boxes for our belonings. (a drawer would have been more useful and convenient) there’s a couple of good stores around the corner and its next to the jameson distillery so that was quite fun. we also tried the breakfast one day which was really tasty. not a great hostel, but certainly good for its price!
I like the cleanliness and the beddings plus the locker
Building and facilities are nice. Staff is friendly and there is a nice atmosphere downstairs. Smithfields is a good area although there are plenty of dubious people hanging around the square at evening.
I stayed 4 nights, none of which were able to sleep. Most roommates (solo travelers) were gross, and disrespectful. Hours between 23:00 and 4:00 are literally impossible to sleep, any day of the week. Making noise, slamming doors, smell of alcohol, puking in the bathroom, turning on lights or unleashing undesirable smells. Very unpleasant experience.
I like everything: location, the staff, atmosphere...
The Location suits my appointments and I can get the Tram to my favourite restaurant !
