Ground floor rooms.
Beds and pillows were beyond worn out. Rooms were not clean or cleaned daily. In 5 days the room was swept and cleaned once. Outlets didn’t work. Bathroom flooded. Patches on walls and ceiling. Just a horrible place to go stay.
Will never stay there again
The room had an old smell to it and the bathroom was nasty. The tub was overly dirty! Checking into the hotel I didn't get a great feeling from the clerk who helped me. Additionally, upon attempting to check out, other guests as well as myself were in the lobby for 20 minutes without any associate at the desk. So we eventually had to wrap the key card in a piece of paper and write our room number down. No one was at the desk.

On my drive home I noticed my head itching (note I didn't go out to any other locations for 2 weeks) stayed for one night and when I got home I checked my head to find one adult louse and almost 50 eggs pretty sure the lice are from the hotel as I didn't go anywhere else possible to catch them and I noticed the sensation of itch after sleeping in the bed... That being said the carpet was soaked by the entrance of the room from the ac. The ac took over 10 minutes to work the first time and repeatedly shut off and stopped working over 5 times durning the night making the stay extremely uncomfortable. Also found a box a tissues and tissues full of pervious people bodily fluids that was not pleasant. Would not be returning to this hotel. Tried the morning breakfast and found a hair in the raisin brand that I served to my self and husband so that also ruined my appetite
very accommodating staff, reservation through kayak was messed up , but Days Inns took care of the problem on their end with no problems.

Was probably still the closest hotel to the beach, in destin, anyone going for longer then 2 days should go to a water front condo, price difference is minimal, or go to a different city. Walk to beach wasn't bad, but definitely not carrying a lot of beach equipment with you because it is not close enough. I enjoyed our stay. But definitely willing to spend a little extra now to be on the beach, worth it.
