Nice and friendly staff. Close to the beach. That's all.
Completely lack of parking space, all streets in the whole city completely crowded. Building and facilities are quite old, not in very good condition - all clean, but... Definitely overpriced.
Really close to the beach. Breakfast was good.
During five nights the room was only cleaned once, didn't get new toilet paper and the heating went off in the evening and nighttime till late morning
Owner is really friendly, but not always that helpful. Breakfast was ok, but not restocked during. So when finished, it looked like it was finished.
I had asked for a double bed and got 2 singles put together. No option to change or to even look for a solution. When asking to switch, the answer was no and it was not possible until the day I left. Unfortunately I had seen people leaving several times during the 6 nights I stayed over. So there were definitely possibilities to switch throughout our stay. The room was in the back, right next to the fire-escape and it was not safe and pleasant to open the windows during the night or during the daytime. Easy for other people to enter the room. The facilities are old and in need for renewal, especially for that price. I have seen a hotel with seaview and more extended breakfast for only 10 euro more, so they are offering due to the location 'near' the beach. But the price is too high for this type of accommodation and service.
The hotel is well-located; although not on the beachfront, it's literally a thirty second walk to the promenade, and less than a minute to the coastal tram station. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke fluent English. The breakfast wasn't grand, but was fresh and tasty. There's a bar downstairs; no need to venture out for a drink in the evenings.
There's something peculiar about the way the corridors, ventilation shafts, or something is laid out in the building; sound carries incredibly well from the corridors to the rooms, and between rooms. Something to keep in mind.
Breakfast is excellent, staff very friendly and it has a fun bar. It's both very close to the beach and the tram. It has an elevator which is a plus. The bed was very comfy.
