Pros: Clean and well facilities
Cons: Room service food delay and suggest us other food
Pros: Good variety of restaurants and quality of the food. The staff was very proactive and nice, all of them were fluent on english. The room was what we were expecting.
Cons: The sunbeds in the pool were very crowded, as people wakes up early just to put the towel and leave. I‘d appreciate more staff managing the situation.
Pros: Brilliant and friendly staff!
Cons: Private pool could’ve been more private. Like all hotels the lighting and shower where complicated. Tv wasn’t modern enough to stream our viewing or watch anything but the news. But we enjoyed our time . Hotel was nice
Pros: Breakfast, especially Cretan is great. Location is close to the sea, rooms are spaceous. Good conference center.
Cons: The location of the hotel is veryyyy far from all the sights. The surroundings are a bit destoyed, so you will be nearly locked at the hotel or will need to travel about 30-40 mins even to Chania. Cleaninf of the rooms must be improved.
Pros: Nice pool bars. Big pools.
Cons: The location of our room was looking on the sea and we had strong winds and we couldn’t use our pool because of the strong winds.
Pros: Room was specious, breakfast was impressive, WiFi was good and main swimming poor was really good.
Cons: Not easy to get a sunbed as people where leaving their stuff in the morning (without actually using them)
When you stay at Giannoulis – Santa Marina Beach in Chania, you'll be near the bay, a 1-minute drive from Agia Marina Beach and 6 minutes from Platanias Beach. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nothing. They stiffed us out of our booking.
Cons: The fact I traveled overseas only to come here and they BS me about plumbing issues when in fact they were over booked. That's BS. I'm Greek from outside of Greece and we have a saying about the deceitful practices by native Greeks.. "That's why they are destined to never progress..." Such a beautiful country yet so much apathy in the workers. Wake up! You're embarrassing the rest of us who hold and live by the old Greek ethos.
When you stay at Veronica Hotel in Chania, you'll be connected to the convention center, within a 15-minute drive of Chania Lighthouse and Golden Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.

Cons: no complaints !
Pros: -ALL staff were amazing so friendly and helpful -hotel and its areas were all kept clean -location-close to beaches/restaurants/bus stop -fast wifi -nice swimming pool -complimentary gift when we were leaving
Cons: - dark room in the basement - shower is really small and short curtain doesnt help, as everytime after taking shower we had a small swimming pool in the bathroom
Pros: We loved the location, outside of the busy city but close enough that everything was easy to get to by rental car or bus. The restaurants around the hotel are all delicious, the staff were very accommodating, the room had a little kitchenette which was good for preparing small meals, and it was very cheap, price-wise, which was nice for our small budget.
Cons: The pool was super cold (no jacuzzi), the beaches near the hotel are not great (wouldn't even recommend wasting your time going), the shower was SO unbelievable small and didn't have anything to seperate it from the rest of the bathroom so it got water everywhere.
Pros: Nice place, friendly staff, excellent location.
Cons: I reccomend that u should write on booking if the ecomony studios are semi-besiment or not. We were quite disappointed when we saw the room
Pros: silence and clean
Pros: Location is great. Close walk to 3 beaches. Lots of tavernas and shops. Very good cleaning service. Polite afternoon receptionist. Tasty breakfast.
Cons: Beds were too hard and street noise very late at night and early morning( buses bringing tourists, rubbish collection, general traffic).
Pros: Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. Comfortable rooms
Pros: Location.Beaches.Public transport handy.

Cons: Over crowded, support column in room blocking sea view. Bathroom room flooded when taking shower due to poor weather stripping.
Pros: It’s overall a decent property. The food was amazing!
Cons: The desk staff seems hassled when you ask them for help. Even just for towels. We got a private pool and the tiles were missing. Somewhat worn down-also pool closes at 8pm which is somewhat frustrating especially because I paid extra for private pool access and we were out on beach tours for the day. By the time we got back, we ate dinner and to have a drink and go in the pools, they were closed.
Pros: Interesting concept of hotel facilities spread around numerous buildings & beach access
Pros: Food was great and the staff was always very nice and helpful. The drinks were good and the view is amazing!! The hotel also offers paid excursions, which is very handy.
Pros: Very helpful staff when we wanted to change rooms and also with a dental issue. Lovely food choices especially on themed evenings. Sandy beach. Great pools and lots of sun beds and cabanas so always found somewhere to sunbathe or be in the shade.
Cons: There was no organised daytime or evening entertainment which was disappointing (we travelled late September to early October). Too many sun beds crammed together on small private beach.
Pros: Food is good , there is always a lot of selection, room was very clean. Stuff are very kind, they have a lot of activities that are suitable both teenagers and the older tourists :) Very good reception and all inclusive stuff.
Cons: The hotel is on a mountain, very difficult to get to the room (hotel has shuttles).
Pros: Friendly staff, nice Food
Cons: Sometimes you had to wait 20 minutes to enter the restaurant Bed at the beach were very busy, you had to arrive at 9 o’clock to have a bed
Pros: The location ,the view ,ive never seen such a selection of food for breakfast, and the fact that its adult only makes it super relaxing from the moment you arrive. Sophia was superb at looking after us.
Cons: Lots of steps ,but thats a pay off for such stunning views!

Pros: Just a amazing place for relaxing holiday at the beach and exploring Creta! Super breakfast, beach and very important, friendly people of the hotel!
Pros: Everything! Beautiful hotel with greek atmosphere, modern style but greek flair, 60 rooms and not that big as other hotels - thats why I loved it! Staff is very friendly, always look after the guests. Beach drink and food service, very comfy restaurant area at the beach. Want to be back! Keep going, you do your jobs very well!
Cons: Rooms with garden view are a little bit dark, but they are very comfortable though
Pros: Very comfortable room with a little garden and a lot of options to select from at breakfast. The relaxing area by the beach was the highlight of our stay. The staff was very friendly too.
Cons: The place was great and we’ll definitely recommend. May I only suggest to provide a kettle and coffee machine in the room. This addition would make this place perfect.
Pros: Everything, loved that we had beach so close to us staff really friendly too
Cons: Only thing that I didn't like, I was keep finding some stains on the towels everything else was really clean.
Pros: Everything was perfect! Good rooms, perfect location, good food, friendly staff.
Pros: The location was great. The room was big and comfortable. Will go back
Cons: The trafic near the hotel was very noisy, also one of the restaurants/bar next to Posseidon (and close to Amalthia) has a very loud music all day, you cannot have a peacefull rest on the beach.

Pros: Good breakfast spread, half board dinner menu was also good.
Pros: Staff was very courteous and helpful, rooms were well maintained and clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast buffet had many choices to choose from, and location was excellent - very close to the waterfront, restaurants, shopping, taxi stand, etc... And price was very reasonable.
Cons: Not much parking available if you rent a car, and bathtubs are a little small, even to take a shower.
Pros: The staff was fantastic. Very nice and helpful.
Cons: The decor was a but dated, but everything was clean and comfortable.
Pros: From the minute we arrived to when we left the staff were fantastic, genuine in all their efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is in a great location and is spotlessly clean, breakfast was superb with a wide selection for all tastes

Pros: Lovely spacious rooms which were cleaned everyday to a high standards. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice breakfast with a wide range of choices.
Cons: Nothing. Loved everything about the hotel.
Cons: I had the breakfast only. Wasn't happy with it. Only bad thing I encountered
Pros: Braekfast, dinner were al very tastefool and Nice. IT was very quiet during the day on the whole resort. The cleaning was perfect.
Cons: I didn’t like the noise of the music after 22.00 hours when there were special musicevents. I Would liked to have the music played a bit softer, so it’s Nice to zit on your balcony
Pros: Property and room were ok and very clean. Pool was cleaned daily.
Cons: Somehow one could not prevent smelling greediness all over the place. It started at check in when the lady in the reception required to pay tourist taxes in cash, did not give any receipt and charged 6 times greater amount than should have! We had just discussed the tax in our previous accommodation in Crete, so we knew how it was calculated and there it was possible to pay with card and it was documented also. Just didn’t feel like starting a fight immediately upon arrival. The quality of food and beverages was terrible. We ate the lunch buffet once and none of us liked it. The breakfast had plenty variety but quality of food and juices was poor. It was very first time for me to see that somebody served raw bacon on breakfast buffet... I’m glad we weren’t staying all inclusive. Even coca cola was some cheap copy! Unfortunately there aren’t that many restaurants near by but at least the few there was were serving better food than Creta Palm resort. I also found it very strange that they had a spa menu presenting all kinds of treatments but prices only available on request with whole lot of pressure to visit the tent spa... Beds very hard.
Pros: I was very impressed with the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, great breakfast buffet as was the dinner. Lots of choice and excellent food. I couldn't fault any aspect of our stay.
Cons: The fact that we only spent seven days there.
Pros: Great hotel! Would stay there again. Just like the pictures. Beach is right across the street and its great to have the pool for red flag days at the beach. Don't know what we would have done without the pool and the kids on those days. The breakfast is out of this world!! Just as good as 5 star hotels in Athens. They also have a fresh crepe stand and offer freshly made loukoumades. View from breakfast area is also great! Bar opened until very late if you want to grab something on your way back from being out all day. Food in general is good; had the lunch buffet one day and offered a lot of choices. Staff is also very friendly and go out of their way to help you. Good laundry service and taxi always available. Many choices for kids; including mini arcade. We also stayed on a higher floor and had a great view.
Cons: Liked everything!
Pros: The hotel was amazing! The rooms were very large, the staff was very friendly and amazingly helpful. I had a great conversation with the night desk manager. He was very professional and courtious. I will absolutly be staying here again and would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

This hotel has facilities measuring 200 square feet (19 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beds were really good
Pros: Very relaxing; spa and gym were a great bonus; access to both a lovely pool and the sea; excellent buffet breakfast; very friendly and helpful staff; easy access by bus into the delightful Chania.
Pros: Where do I start! The room excellent, the food was totally delicious & great value, the pool and even our private pool was beyond expectation, the staff all around were friendly & went above and beyond to ensure ours needs were covered, from the their morning greetings to the last goodnight. Also, the pool bar people were fantastic, highly recommend a drop or few Raiki with them. Thank you & hope to see you again
Pros: Executive suite was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Cons: It rained during our stay and the covers on the sunbeds were left out and couldn’t be used as they were wet! Minor point but you’d think they would have been moved under cover when it rained.
Pros: Excellent location with a seaview. Very good breakfast.
Pros: Beautiful pool & outdoor space , extensive breakfast, very nice view of the water. Very clean. Nice staff.
Cons: Rooms were a bit dated in decor & instead of one large bed for two people it was two smaller beds right next to each other. Not my favorite, but it's pretty common in Europe.
Pros: Great value for money
Cons: Great for families
Pros: This hotel was amazing. The view from the pool chair was luxurious. The food and beverages were mouth watering. The staff was fun, friendly and professional. The hotel itself is one of the nicest I've stayed in.
Cons: When they describe a "couch bed" they really just mean you are sleeping on the couch, it is in no way a bed. The town and surroundings are a bit run down but the beach is nice.
Pros: Buffet breakfast was awesome
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast buffet was just perfect :) Everything about the hotel- location, rooms, garden, restaurant and pool area, services - was very well planned and managed. Thoughtful, professional and extremely friendly staff - beyond our expectations.

Pros: Helpful staff after losing a key.
Cons: Too dark in the kitchen.
Pros: Big room, clean. Towels changed almost everyday. Supermarkets near by.
Cons: No courtain for the shower. A little bit noisy because of the very close road

When you stay at Galaxy Hotel in Chania, you'll be near the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Old Venetian Harbour and Golden Beach. Featured amenities include a library and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Hotel is in quiet place. Very nice owner, very clean. I highly recommended for everyone.
Cons: Wonderful swimming pool
Pros: The view was wonderful. There was a clean pool. And the owner was really friendly with us. Really nice hotel
Cons: The hotel could be a 3 start hotel if there were some requirements, like breakfast, mini soaps and other little things. Also there was a missing shade of the window's bathrooom so we had to put a bag to conver the opening.
Pros: The location is great having a walkable to beach and so many shops and restaurant's nearby. The apartments were more spacious than I imagined and the swimming pool excellent in the hotter days. The old man doesn't speak English but is very welcoming. The cleaner is very friendly. The bus service is every 20 minutes to Chania. Excellent value.
Cons: Bus sometimes overcrowded.
Pros: Great position. Nice big apartment. No charge for safe or air con.
Cons: Only minor niggles. Could have done with a kettle in the room. The pool would be better with a surrounding wall/fence.
Pros: Very hospitable and helpful landlord/receptionist, amazing swimming pool, great location! Very clean too. We would definitely come once more there.
Cons: The stay here was comfortable, the only thing I would suggest is to provide shower curtains in the bathroom for more comfort.
Pros: Aircon in each room. Clean. Comfy
Cons: Had to be quite all the time
Pros: the apartment room we rented was very spacious with one master bedroom, one living room area, a basic bathroom and spacious balcony. It had a brand new fridge/freezer as well as loads of kitchen utensils which helped us cook whenever we fancied. The room was cleaned every day it was spotless clean and bedsheets and towels were changed every single day. The pool was spot on, great size for the whole family to enjoy and always clean and hygienic for us and our little one. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the sandy beach, which was crystal clear, shallow and warm enough to swim in, and with lots of restaurants, take aways, mini markets and playcenters for little ones to play nearby. Mr. Vagelis was always happy to help and there to answer to our needs. It is thanks to this hotel that we had the BEST Holiday so far as a new family. Thank you Galaxy Hotel and many thanks to Mr Vagelis and his daughter! Next year we'll stay there for longer!
Cons: honestly, i and my wife and little one liked absolutely everything!
Pros: nothing !
Cons: It was horrible

Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location, few meters from the beach and very close to restaurants and shops. The beach, clean, not very crowd, sandy . The owner, very nice and helpfull, tipically greek
Pros: The apartment was very nice and very clean. The kitchen was full equipped and clean (not every apartment in Crete is so clean like here!). The terrace was amazing. Air-condition was for free (again, in some places in Crete you have to pay it!) The staff was very nice! The sea was transparent. And the village is full of nice shops and restaurants. We were there at the beginning of June, so there were not so much tourists. We loved the stay at Ermis suites!!!
Cons: The beach could be better. Some little rocks on the bottom were a little bit uncomfortable.
Pros: The owners were so kind and helpful Gave us fabulous suggestions to get away from the crowds Litsas restaurant in Afrata is an authentic family run place with great food and a view from high up on the mountains that was heavenly
Pros: We LOVED the accommodation, which had a spacious living area and ample sized bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean and the family who run the business were so accommodating and made us feel like family ourselves. The outlook from the terrace area is perfect and you're at the beach in 20 seconds with beautiful restaurants along the beach. It really was the most perfect stay for my husband and I and our toddler.
Cons: Our stay was too short and I only wish we could've stayed longer!
Pros: Very close to the beach, very clean, confortable, big balcony very nice view, on one side we could see the sea, on the other side..the mountains. It was relaxing hearing the waves every night. There is a chicineta well equipped. The are supermarkets close, many restaurants and tavervas. Bus station station is close. We enjoyed!
Pros: Great apartement on the beach. Brand new pool at the hotel next door that we could use. «Eremis» himself was very kind and helpful. Oceanview, big green garden where the kids could play. Close to everything. The small grocery Katarina has the friendliest straff and everything you need.
Cons: The bathroom was small, old fashioned and not special welcoming. And we had to pay for the sunbeds. I think it would be a great idea to offer the guests sunbeds for free.
Pros: Excellent location, prompt communication. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: The spa was great!
Pros: The staff were brilliant, helpful and made my stay a pleasure. Beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, amazing spa and great location. They made sure I was well looked after and would happily visit again!
Cons: Not much I didn’t like! Would have been great to have had a rainfall shower in the bathroom as they are great.
Pros: Manager and staff were very helpful in suggesting and arranging day trips. Wonderful building, wonderful staff, good breakfast, excellent restaurant suggestions.
Pros: Staff was super helpful and friendly! Loved the history of the hotel and got to meet the current owner.
Pros: Friendly staff, easy communication, nice building
Pros: This is a beautiful well located hotel close to the harbour in the old town of Chania. We were given an upgrade I think because there was hardly anyone in the hotel because of the time of the year. (Contrary to what we had read, early to mid November was perfect - no rain and 24 degree weather throughout our time in Crete). The rooms were over the top - large, very clean, nice character, and classy. The continental breakfasts were ample and the massages we had one afternoon were fantastic. Parking was in a free public parking area near the castle walls and about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. For a relatively large city, Chania was a terrific place with museums and a lively harbour area full of restaurants. Highly recommend both the hotel and the city.
Cons: Can't think of anything. One has to walk into the old town to get to the hotel but that is the same for any hotel located inside the walls. For a lot of reasons, you want to stay inside the old town.
With a stay at Civitel Akali Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Chania, within a 10-minute walk of Municipal Art Gallery of Chania and Cathedral of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary. Pros: Excellent stuff, most confortable mattresses ever, clean, close to the centre, but away from crowds.
Pros: Excellent breakfast with cretan menu options. Close to old town and coach station. Welcoming and helpful staff.
Cons: Room was a little smaller than expected. International tv channels limited.
Pros: Location is excellent and breakfast is very nice. The rooms are new and comfortable.
Cons: Rooms are not isolated and you can everything from the next room...
Pros: Close to everything and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Pool was closed as end of season
Pros: Quiet room good location good breakfast.
Cons: Gym not available with room key.
Pros: The beds were so comfortable and the location is wonderful !!
Cons: The double beds were not separated and there's not a good variety in the breakfast especially for a 4 star hotel
Pros: It was very close to the old town and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was the best ever. Could park our motorcycle beside the hotel no problem. Would stay again if in the area.
Pros: Great location and most of all.Staff were very attentive!
Cons: None,everything was fine.

Pros: Extremely helpful and friendly personnel, very comfortable rooms. Great location near the Old Town. We loved our stay here! Thank you, people @Samaria Hotel. I would love to see you again any time!
Pros: The staff were so great, brilliant with my children and proactive in helping me (I use a wheelchair) get to less easy to access parts of the hotel.
Pros: amazing breakfast. simple room with a nice washroom and balcony. very comfortable.
Cons: the pool wasn't open late even though it was hot.
Pros: Great room, fantastic breakfast by the pool, quiet location but easy access to the town. The hotel is chic but not fussy and it was a pleasure to spend a day. We thought it would be perfect for a long weekend.
Pros: It may not be on the waterfront, but it's very walkable from there. Modern, great rooms, clean, great staff, good bar and café. Just an all around great place to stay!
Pros: We were lucky and upgraded to a room with a large balcony where we had an amazing view of the old town and sea. Location was really good, room very clean and comfortable, shower the best, room service first night very quick and great food. Check in staff also really helpful, including with our car. Breakfast lots of options and nice seating area outside around the pool. Friday night nice piano music was played, also even by other guest - lovely.
Cons: Cant think of anything.
When you stay at Nontas Suites in Chania, you'll be connected to a shopping center, a 4-minute drive from Golden Beach and 9 minutes from Agia Marina Beach. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff was wonderful and pool area very nice and peaceful.
Cons: No complains.
Pros: In real the suites looks much better than at the pictures! Very good cleaning, lovely receptionemployees! Just 5 minutes walk to beautiful beaches. Good restaurants. Very relaxing place with many Scandinaviën families.
Cons: We received the first day for 3 people 2 smallest soaps for two weeks no shampoo nothing:( i when to the front desk to request some and the girl said she couldn’t give me one more cause the “policy” of the hotel , excuse me? This is ridiculous Despite the fact that towels and sheets changed every three days, this is understanding how can you do this to tourists? We when to the beach every day as normal , and of course we used the towels and of course when we returned to the hotel to take a bath we didn't have towels, why? the response from the reception "we cannot give another one to you, cause “the hotel policy" that ridiculous ..... These things mentioned above were frustrating for us and for obvious reasons we would not return Nontas Hotel ......
With a stay at Minoa Palace Resort & Spa in Platanias, you'll be on the beach, a 3-minute walk from Platanias Beach and a 5-minute drive from Agia Marina Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests may use a bus station shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The wine-tasting on 16 October was a really good experience.
Cons: We were not informed in advance that facilities in the hotel will be closed before the end of our stay. The price for the room was not reduced during the time with limited hotel services available. The check-in and check-out are to be improved if the hotel wants to stand for it's 5 stars. The beach can be improved in terms of access to the sea without all the rocks and wooden peaces. There was only welcome coffee capsules and water bottle and for 5 stars and the price (160 Eur/night) we were expecting to have them for every day of the stay.
Pros: Wonderfully run hotel. Incredible level of hospitality.
Cons: Slightly noisy near the main road.
Pros: Everything! This is our second time staying at Minoa and we loved it just as much as the first time... From the breakfast to the beach to all the staff... It is all wonderful and cannot be faulted. We hope to return again one day.
Pros: It had everything we needed and the staff were all super friendly! It was also close to the highway which was ideal for day trips.
Cons: There was not many things that we did not like about the hotel. However when we went for a couples massage, the quality was extremely varied and definitely not worth 80 euros per person.
Pros: Amazing food, very helpful staff
Pros: Highly recommended. Can not fault it. Definitely worth the money. Staff were great. Room was extremely comfortable. Facilities superb!
Cons: Nothing. It’s a great place to stay in Crete.
Pros: Convenient location with many restaurants, shops, bars and super markets around. Breakfast is ok.
Cons: Dinner is only served from 7pm - same for all three restaurants inside hotel. Gym closes at 19:30, after which you need to go to the reception to get authorisation and sign a paper. It’s quite scary while using the gym after it closes because it locates almost at the end corner of the resort - not very pleasant an experience. View from the beach has nothing special. What is WORST is that bathroom shampoo/body wash/soap are NOT refilled at all for 3 days!! We have to ring up the reception to request for it!! And thank goodness it was provided on the 4th (and last) night of our stay.
Located in Chania (Chania Town), Porto Del Colombo is within a 10-minute walk of Old Venetian Harbour and Old Venetian Harbor. Featured amenities include express check-out, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Room furniture breakfast staff location
Cons: Bit of climb up the stairs
Pros: The staff is the best we’ve found. Rula, Vasiliki and Eva were so friendly and helpful. The whole place is charming. Breakfast was terrific.
Pros: This hotel was a last minute booking in an effort to re-route our vacation away from Spain during the COVID 19 lockdown. We were caught in the domino effect of Europe shutting down, and literally booked a flight to Crete just a few hours before heading to the airport trying to escape Madrid. We had no hotel booked as we boarded the plane. Upon arrival in Athens, we started searching for hotels and found very few options available as hotels pulled their inventory off the booking sites. Fortunately, Porto del Colombo accepted our reservation just as we took off from Athens to Chania. We arrived to a vacant property with clear instructions on the front door telling us how to check ourselves in. We were the only guests in the hotel! The following morning, we were greeted at the reception desk by Eva, who made a difficult situation much better. Eva provided us with current information about the impending government lockdown, set us up with maps and a working strategy for how to get fed in a rapidly closing-down town. She also prepared an ample breakfast with made-to-order omelettes, cappuccinos, Greek pastries, yogurt and fresh-squeezed orange juice every morning for 5 days! The hotel itself is very well located just one row back off the old harbor, across the street from Casa Delfino, and only a 2 minute walk to the promenade. The top floor has 2 harbor views rooms. The hotel is a charming 650-year old Venetian-built structure oozing with old-world character. Our 2nd-floor room felt spacious by European standards, with a very high ceiling, multiple windows, separate sitting area with a small sofa, table, desk, an armoire and mini-fridge. The dark, heavy wooden furniture was substantial and felt appropriate for the setting. The bathroom was mostly tiled and spotlessly clean. We could find no fault with this hotel, and given the extreme circumstances, felt that management and staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Great value for the price paid!
Cons: Lots of stairs, no elevator.
Pros: Friendly informative staff. Great breakfast with many choices included. Ideal location for exploring old town. Charming and historic building but very comfortable.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist whenever possible . Location was wonderful . Out of the many hotels we stayed in during our 3 week holiday , this was our favourite . And so beautiful too - loved the staircase , the windows, and the furniture.
Pros: Very cosy historic hotel close to the port. Very friendly staff, warm welcome. Exact the oposite of these all inclusive impersonal and industrial hotels.
Pros: Friendly, accomodating and traditional stay. All female staff and management were wonderful. Great stay!
Pros: Thanks to the staff for great tips on where to eat and what to do. Big thanks to them also for providing a takeaway breakfast for our early start to Samaria Gorge.
Pros: Rula, Eva, and the other ladies were very nice and helpful. This Hotel has outstanding service and location. Breakfast was very good. Room very comfortable. We will come back!
Cons: Having to leave...

Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Was not a problem to leave our car on their secured parking after the check-out for half a day while we took a strol through the city. Location is nice, they try to keep the atmosphere and interioir of the former embassy, which gives the entrance hall a certain flair.
Pros: Everything it was a beautiful hotel in a brilliant location we shall return
Cons: Nothing..we loved it all
Pros: The hotel was built in 1850 and was renovated in 1990. It’s architecture is classical and absolutely amazing! Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. The reception and “living room” area is large and contains a wood burning fireplace. This hotel will take you back to the way things were in the 1900’s. The staff are exceptional. If we come back to Chania we will only stay here!
Cons: The only negative about the hotel is that it’s a twenty minute walk to town. However, there’s a city bus stop across the street and takes about 10 minutes (with stops) and costs a little over a euro.

Pros: Really liked the location and the balcony. Just amazing to sit and watch the harbour. Room was spacious.
Cons: Only real small annoyance was the shower in the bath.
Pros: The staff were amazingly helpful, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The staff that provided breakfast, Augustine was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food on offer was delicious and varied, something different every day, we were all very impressed, catering for all tastes. They also provided a take away breakfast if you had a tour early in the morning. We couldn't have asked for more.
Cons: Nothing, all good.
Pros: the room was lovely in a old building. We had a economy room but it was spacious,, clean and bright the hotel had a great roof terrace that panoramic views over the old town and harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful and if you ate in their restaurant you got a 10 % discount on your meal. The hotel is right on the harbour so is very close to everything.
