Cons: No, I enjoyed the property.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The personal attention by the Ritz team on top of everything else about our time there exceptional. It is always well worth the extra cost to stay there.
Cons: We miss the old bar with the King Neptune picture behind it. But the new upgrades make that area more open and inviting.

Pros: The new lounge is fabulous!
Cons: Room a bit stark. Tiny TV. Short on bathroom amenities (shampoo etc). Need better pillows.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Room was not clean enough which surprised me. Car was checked into valet under my name when I had no car. Several charges added to my card by the hotel after I left. I will need to call the hotel to straighten this out.

Pros: We loved the amazing cleanliness and comfort of the hotel! The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are fully taken care of. We came with our kids and they were definitely spoiled. Great fitness center and facilities. Will definitely be staying here again!
5,0 Okay

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of character and walkable to restaurants, pharmacy, coffee. Located on residential street, just off the main road.
Cons: Lobby closed from 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Had emergency number, but would have preferred staff on-site.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was amazing and very comfortable bed huge living space
4,0 Okay
Cons: No elevator Bare bones with no frills No hair dryer Not very clean
7,0 Good
Pros: The pool area is quite nice. It is advertised as heated and it probably is but not to the extent that you expect a heated pool to be. The hot tub was warm. But the ambiance was very nice.
Cons: Everything was nice. Beyond their control, a screaming child woke us up every single morning we were there. We bought breakfast for every morning we were there. For hotel guests breakfast costs $10 per person per day. I would very strongly say that it's not worth $10. One day there was barely any bacon or eggs. And yes they offered to get more. But am I really, as a guest, supposed to tell them that 3 pieces of bacon for 2 people isn't enough?

Pros: Didn’t see any breakfast. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we would certainly come back. It was clean, quiet and so close to the beach. We moved up to the larger suite and although the smaller room was lovely, we will book the larger suite next time.
Cons: There could have been more chaise lounging chairs, most were always taken by one large family. A shame that the upper deck isn’t up graded with furniture, tables with umbrellas, etc. It is a nice space and wasn’t up to the standard of the rest of the hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very accommodating! They even lent us a stroller for our toddler. Location was perfect just a short walk to the beach and near many restaurants.
Cons: Rooms are on the smaller size.

7,0 Good
Pros: We were only staying one night prior to going on a cruise. The hotel offered an espresso machine in the room which was nice. Otherwise it was very basic. The front desk clerk referred us to a. nearby restaurant “Casablanca” which we enjoyed very much.
Cons: We would not stay at such a small hotel again. The Uber driver could not find us and it was very difficult getting a taxi.

Pros: Location. Close to restaurants, beach, stores, water taxi and trolley. Beautiful pool. Two hot tubs. Nice gym. A few activities each day on site.
Cons: Can not think of anything we did not like.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was more than helpful and very friendly. You can't beat the location either it's right there in the middle of everything. Great pool deck when you can find a seat but does get a little warm compared to beach.
Cons: When arriving you have to pull into parking garage and take elevator to lobby. This was a little confusing if you never been there. Also when we arrived we were not informed of the wifi and hotel amenities which we could of asked but didn't. There are only 4 elevator's which serve guest as well as staff and can get very busy causing a wait and some impatients The last thing is the pool chairs which day state are not to be saved but people do it anyways then get angry when other people come down looking for a chair do people move their stuff because the staff says if no one's there in 35 minutes just to take the seat. Makes for some unfriendly moments.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff
Cons: nope
7,1 Good
Pros: Free laundry, gym looked good, beds were comfortable, well equipped kitchenette.
Cons: Entrance was not well marked and had to go through a car park to enter. Bathroom was tiny with not enough room to move, and bath was small.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location to the Atlantic was great. Wake up every morning open up the sliding glass door and listen to the ocean. Wonderful.
Cons: They were doing construction. Woke up to jack-hammers and circular saws. Even though it was four floor up. The elevators are very slow. I was able to read a short novel before one came. Entrance to the hotel is only through the garage. Crazy.
9,0 Excellent
Cons: Front desk staff are a bit lazy. Entrance to the hotel is weird. Little to no information on the facilities available to use. Need an info pack. Bathroom showers lack wands to properly wash yourself.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location Really liked our 2 bedroom suite configuration Each bedroom having their own balcony with a beautiful view was an unexpected plus
7,0 Good
Pros: Close to the beach and restaurant. Room was clean and spacious.
Cons: Elevators were slow, and getting in and out of the hotel was difficult. Wifi was difficult to get onto.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our trip at the Marriott Beach Place was amazing. From the moment we checked in until we checked out. We received great service from every employee. We got to the hotel early and Ashley was able to get us into a room early. We had laughs on the elevator with the cleaning staff and the guy working in the lobby by the elevators was very friendly too. I forgot his name but I do remember that he is from Jamaica. And we had the absolute best time by the pool bar. Adan was fantastic! He was genuinely kind. He seemed happy to be there. We sat there for a couple hours one day and had the best time. He gave us some great suggestions on where to eat and hangout. We had dinner at a place that he suggested and it was amazing! Adan made our trip even more special. Thank you Adan! I really hope that he gets to see this review. There was construction going on at the hotel and at times it was noisy but the service was so good that we didn’t even care. I am a Store Director for a major retail company and I appreciate excellent client service and that is exactly what we received. Thank you to the entire staff. We had a wonderful weekend.
Cons: I can’t complain about anything.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I travel a lot, and this was a ten day five city trip. This hotel was the best. It was new and nice with great service and a great location. I was most impressed that parking was only 14/day despite others charging 25/day. IT showed their fairness.
Cons: Although the parking was low cost, it did take a bit to drive up the parking structure to the fourth floor.

Pros: I didn'i enjoyed it because it's where my wife and I spent our honeymoon.
Cons: I didn't have breakfast. What I didn't like was because I parked on the street, I had to keep running to the parking meter every three hours so that I wouldn't re.ceive a parking ticket.
7,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast buffet was very good.
Cons: Room was dated and no water pressure in shower.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It was what we expected
Cons: Nothing we didn't like

Pros: Location to the beach was amazing and the room was very clean and large
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view
Cons: I can't think of anything
8,0 Excellent
Cons: I was given a handicap accessibility room. Didn’t ask for one and wasn’t told I was getting one. I’m not a big fan of them and think I should’ve been told before checking in.
7,1 Good
Pros: The room was very spacious and it was great to have our own kitchenette and laundry facilities. It was fabulous to be on the Intracoastal waterway and the view from our lovely terrace was fabulous. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a terrace on the waterway and they had a pizza oven.
Cons: The valet parking was $25 a day which we thought was expensive. Considering we paid nearly $3000 for 6 days we felt it should have been included. However there was plenty of public parking around; the downside being that you could only purchase 0 to 3 hours at a time. $1.50 for 3 hours. The app worked well, but it was irritating to have to set a timer so that I could monitor the parking. We felt the property was rather tired. There was significant damage to the wall in our bathroom. The bath was very small and they used shower curtains. There was no dressing gowns or slippers and the towels were very small. We didn’t feel it was very clean either.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, view, overall atmosphere
Cons: They were booked out when i wanted to rebook again
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was perfect. this is what 4 Stars should be! the rooms were perfect, the views were perfect. everything was great. to top it all off, free breakfast can't be beat. :)

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: n/a
5,0 Okay
Pros: The price. The breakfast spread was great.
Cons: It was quite far from the beach. That should have been clearly expressed in the description. Pool wasn't good at all. Didn't look clean, I wouldn't go in. No free parking is just plain ridiculous.

Pros: Our suite was very nice. Really enjoyed the comfort.
Cons: The air smelled like cologne-covering smoke, but it didn't.
7,4 Good
Pros: Beautiful hotel and pool. Great staff
Cons: Got to the hotel late Sunday night. Not much to do at the hotel during the week.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The pool area made you feel like you were far away on an Island resort
Cons: The room lighting, not enough. Felt like it was cloudy outside bcs the rooms were dark. Need better lighting
7,4 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and the pool was great
Cons: The construction work that is going on was woken up at 5am and 6am two days in a row from construction machinery and jackhammering
6,8 Good
Cons: Thought the mattresses were not that firm and comfortable. And if you have a king size bed include king size pillows with the bed . The pillows are so worn and small . Didn't like that the outside venue seemed abandoned not as many shops most things were closed while I was there . Was unaware there was construction. And after talking to a shop employee she said it's been torn up outside for so long and nothing has been done with the space . Definitely not the same fun place I visited several years ago. Seems like the outdoor area is getting rundown.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The new guitar hotel is amazing
Cons: Too much smoke in the casino

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly & courteous and helpful
Cons: Everything was great
6,0 Good
Pros: I like the location and amenities this resort has to offer. Even down to the juice bar at the lower level
Cons: This place was packed to maximum capacity. They had people by the packs lining every corridor, lobby and everywheee in between. I’ve never seen so many bell man carts stacked in a row anywhere. Thank goodness I had elite status and pre-signed in on-line for their mobile key. Or so I thought...we arrived at 5:30 pm and despite all this pre-check in key nonsense our room after a day of travel wasn’t ready and would be ready after a modest $175 dinner for 4 (2 adults and 2 children with one drink each) on their Casual next the pool fare. Yikes!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious and clean rooms. Service overall was excellent and the hotel is situated in the perfect location.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Poor customer service. Received nothing for our wedding anniversary after telling them 5x. They got out breakfast wrong and didn’t apologize. The pictures online were very misleading, it’s not as nice in person and we also paid extra for a balcony room but it was under construction, so they put us in a room with a balcony but with two queen beds. Very disappointed! Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Way overpriced and I’ll never come back again. I don’t recommend it to anyone!
7,9 Good
Pros: I reserved a king room months ago and go there and they gave it away and only had queen.. not cool
Cons: All good

Cons: We felt the price was a bit steep.
6,8 Good
Pros: Pol area and beach View of ocean Starbucks
Cons: Restaurant sea level Poor help. Dirty. Bad menu
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and always willing to go out of there way. Clean and comfortable rooms. Loved pool restaurant. Access to the beach was perfect.
Cons: You can see hotel is showing some age. Hard to listen to people talk about how they paid half your price to be there. Should be more consistent with price.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amenities, location, beach area.
Cons: Price for parking, resort fees and dining.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff so friendly, and some nice little extra touches like free cookies and lemonade by the pool every day. Lovely
Cons: Not enough food options
5,0 Okay
Pros: The best thing we liked about this hotel was the location. It is located ocean side so you do not have to cross the street to access the ocean. It is just out of the high traffic area, but still a great location to dining and shopping.
Cons: The staff was less friendly and helpful than other hotels visited, the room decor was outdated, the lower lobby's room leaked (pouring in) in multiple places during rain, the services for beach accommodations was poorly organized.

Pros: The staff was incredible, very courteous and friendly. The lobby was a pleasant place to visit and smelled excellent. The hotel was right on the ocean and the access to the beach remarkable. Our room was large enough but the bathroom counters were small.
Cons: The hotel needs to update the bathroom fixtures. Otherwise, we loved the hotel and had a great vacation. This was a beautiful location at a reasonable price.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very nice room, very clean.
Cons: We couldn’t find darkening blinds/curtains for the room at night and the lights were fairly bright. An airport shuttle would be nice. The hotel is looking like it needs some refurbishment- especially the hallways and lobby.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Housekeeping staff was NOT at all on point. I worked harder than they did, to contact front desk staff, by requesting room cleaning, supplies, clean towels, just about each day out of 6. Front desk staff were cordial & very helpful with immediate results. Coffee bar/counter could not offer HoT coffee, we had to use their microwave at the creamer/napkin counter, to provide our own hot beverages, just not a good experience.
Cons: Housekeeping daily issues

Pros: A helpful staff and one of the best general managers I’ve ever seen. David Blevins was actually on the bus before we left for our cruise giving instructions on on arrival at the cruise port! They really cater to all at this hotel. They had renovations going on but it did not hinder our visit!
Cons: Upon arrival they didn’t have our reservations! The problem was with booking.com they never gave hotel our information but thank goodness for camara she’s a manager I think but she saved the day! I may hav e misspelled her name but we arrived on the 26 about 1 or 2 pm. This is only my second time using this website so now I’m a little leary. Im booking direct to hotel next time. My confirmation number was never given to hotel..shame and n booking.com

Pros: Location - very convenient for cruisers!
Cons: Eating/lobby area is a bit small. Gets crowded when people are waiting for the shuttle

Pros: Location near Ft Lauderdale airport.
Cons: We stay at Hamptons extensively. This is the absolute worst Hampton property we have been to: rooms are dated, property has strong musty smell, carpets are old and were patched together in our room, breakfast was a joke with food not being refilled.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast room was under repair but the employees did the best they could. The staff was amazing, we arrived early and the room was not available but they allowed us to use the pool and stored our luggage. After our cruise they allowed us to return and sit by the pool until our flight home. Very pleased with the service.

Overview Reviews
A premier beachfront location combined with award winning service is awaiting you at our Fort Lauderdale resort. Private balconies with sweeping ocean views, oceanfront dining and pool with a lazy river and private beach provide the perfect sanctuary to escape. A central location to area attractions and businesses makes our location a popular choice for leisure and business travelers alike.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, beachy location...were greeted with a fresh rose on Valentine's Day - love that they hold our bags when we arrived early and we felt like "home" returning there again...but when I was trying to get airlines stuff figured out - the computer in the lobby was down all morning so front desk allowed us to do our biz on their terminal (nice) but was hit in the behind from roughian luggage handler at the front desk area tossing bags around (I had JUST warned him!) ugh! Loved the deck & views! Loved the Lazy River!
Cons: The prices for room service, the RUDE baggage handler who literally hit me with some one's bag, the housekeeping didn't come into our room until after 3:30 pm - the loud noises outside our room (too many hard surfaces maybe in the hallway outside?!? We could hear all the people, the staff)! We ended up ordering lunch from room service to avoid the higher prices of dinner and hubs wants to look for another property next time....ugh!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff very friendly.
Cons: Restaurant choices limited, asked for second chair for table twice and never got it. Walls a little thin, sometimes noisy from other rooms. Elevator issues for most of the week, not resolved for many days.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The property was grand and comfortable. Friendly staff and very nice amenities. The location is next to anything you need, but not walking distance to stores or restaurants. Services were fast (valet, bar, food service, beach set up) Clean and roomy accommodations.
Cons: The cost of the room after resort fees and parking came to 550.00 a night. The hotel was very nice, but I believe the cost was too high. They immediately took 700 dollars(100 a day)for incidentals. Another 300 for parking. So before we entered our room, we had 1000 additional dollars charged to our card. Just be prepared for additional costs. It is an open outdoor hallway on every floor. The noise at times can be annoying. Early morning and late night guests echo and you can hear everything. The refrigerator is filled with their items for purchase so you have no room to store food or drinks of your own. Lots of kids. Not recommended for a quiet get away. But perfect for girls weekend or family vacation.
6,0 Good
Pros: Room was beautiful. Beach is beautiful.
Cons: Hotel is understaffed. Chairs on beach are broken. Must get to the beach at 8am to reserve chairs and an umbrella that are not broken down and beat up. I have never paid $849/night for a generally beat up lobby and undertrained underavailable staff. I was in 812. The family in 912 was loud and banging around late into the night. One bartender in the bar at happy hour.

Pros: Beautiful decore
Cons: Unexpected charge for staying at the resort, a resort fee
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, daily live music on the veranda, comfortable, close proximity to beach, beautiful, large ocean view suites, delicious food and excellent ambiance, excellent towel and chair service, beautiful property, convenience store downstairs, yummy gelato, easy to get Uber to destinations
Cons: Pull out was not comfortable. Room 808 was dark during the day except for the front living room. Not within walking distance of any restaurants. Too cold in lobby, heated pool a bit too cold

5,0 Okay
Pros: That it was located right on the beach.
Cons: The front desk was not helpful when we wanted a different room. The did not accommodate us when we ask for the same size room but one flight up. Because we were the ice machine and the balcony had a concrete wall that obstructed our view off the ocean.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanest hotel that I have ever been to. The staff was fabulous, breakfast was delicious, and the panoramic view was spectacular. Would definitely go back.
Cons: A little pricey for the parking, considering the room was so expensive, but I'd go back, just not park.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super accommodating and I loved that the resort fee included towels, umbrellas, and chairs.
Cons: The location was far from the main areas.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic. The room was charming with a decor to match the hotel’s upscale vintage beachside decor. Great happy hour and not that there is any control of this but everyone I chatted with, guest or employee were beyond nice and hospitable.
Cons: The walls were thin, I could hear conversations going on next door and outside. There were lots of kids which surprised me during Valentine’s Day weekend.

Pros: That it was across from the beach

Pros: Not a AAA 4 diamond experience
Cons: Very tired property Needs room renovations
1,0 Poor
Pros: We liked the bellhops
Cons: We were treated poorly by management. Our room number was hijacked and charged for 2 drinks at the bar by another "guest". When we tried to have the charge removed from our bill, management added the cost again and then subtracted it only once. We still got charged for someone else's drinks though they made it seem like they fixed our bill. Never trust your room number on a receipt left on the bar and never trust the managers at The Atlantic to make it right for you!!!!
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location is great. Staff especially friendly and mannerable.
Cons: Room in need of repair carpet tattered; Cleanliness not thorough, in need of dusting, cabinets needed washing and wiping; wood chipped and scratched on mirror frames. Overall the room's presentation was below par for the cost charged per night.

Cons: My sunglasses went missing on a day I had my room serviced. The manager was called, never introduced himself, and told me that he would have to file a police report. I had little time to make my flight, and so he said he would talk with housekeeping to see if they found them. If they were not found, then he would refund me the money. He said he would call me that night to let me know of his decision. The manager never called me that night and had gone home when I reached a supervisor. The supervisor called the manager, who approved a refund to my credit card. I never received the refund. I understand that it’s uncomfortable to think staff might have taken a guest’s belongings, but I never felt like the manager trusted me, or actually wanted to help me. I’m writing this review because I tried to solve the problem directly with the manager, and he did follow up on his commitments.
