Pros (+) The place was on the water and had many amenities. A restaurant and inside and outside bar with food and entertainment, it is also pet friendly. It’s also a marina so there were boats for hire to take a cruise down the Crystal River. It is located close to everything and the staff was superior.
Cons (-) The hotel/marina has been there for many years and shows the years. A little bit of maintenance could make it much better. The bathroom in my unit had a much needed paint job and actually it made the bathroom look dirty.

Pros (+) This is a diving center, and marina. As such, its been around for a long time. Seems really clean, although worn out and in need of serious TLC. Staff was friendly, food at the restaurant was good. Cant' beat this place if you just want a home base for the Crystal River experience.
Cons (-) Pool area needs tables, chairs and most importantly umbrellas. There is no shady area anywhere. Launching a kayak is a bit hazardous

Pros (+) Beautiful views of true Florida, lovely marina, convenient boat launch.. Our room was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly. Old buildings, but the furnishings, linens, are standard hotel fare.. Comfy beds. Good coffee,fresh fruit and sweet snacks for breakfast (don't expect bagels, muffins, or cereal).
Cons (-) Building needs a lot of maintenance. No proper closet, just a shelf, hanging rod which needed to be replaced.
