Pros (+) Good location. Large pool, but closes at 9. Rooms were kept clean, but the floor was ALWAYS wet. The pipes seemed to keep the grout wet and if mopped, the floor would still be wet 8 hrs later. Associated dive shop made daily diving easy - but the groups were large and the dives short (45 mins, then they surface regardless of air or conditions).
Cons (-) Lots of facilities that I didn't want - it was all-inclusive and I didn't realize when I booked. Couldn't order food. Since I didn't pay for the all-inclusive, I was told I could just buy individual meals / drinks - I couldn't. They only tried to get me to pay a lot for the buffets I didn't want. I ordered tacos and they were terrible - completely Americanized. I never ate or drank at the hotel af...

Pros (+) Same staff as 3 years ago. Very friendly and competent. Food and drinks very good. Comfortable atmosphere. Lots of returning guests. Great when occupancy low.
Cons (-) Dive center pricey, makes negotiations painful for package deals. No cash refunds for unused dives. But dive operators are good, and again many of the same providers as last time.

Pros (+) Nice hotel but not a luxury hotel. Room was clean and well appointed. Hotel is not on the beach although it says private beach. It is mainly a scuba diver hotel. This is also a great place to learn to dive if you're interested. the staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful huge pool. Not close to town although it is walkable or you can rent a scooter or car at the hotel and plan excursions.
