Pros: We had absolutely best holiday vacation! Auberge De La Maison is exceptional in every way! It is like a fairy tale come true! The attention to every detail, the staff, the interiors, the room, the food, the view of the moutains are all beyond expectation; the breathtaking Sky way Monte Bianco jusy a view minutes walk away... the shuttle ride to Courmayour available at the guests disposal. Pros: The outstandingly friendly and helpful staff was making our stay memorable- from the moment we called them when stuck in the snow before arrival to the small attentions (my partner’s birthday), simply wonderful. The architecture and interiors of the chalet look like taken from the perfect romance movie - perfectly decorated to the very detail. Yet it feels cosy, not staged, the chimneys are lit and the rooms are renovated to the latest standard while keeping the unique chalet character. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent, we also tried out the wellness area and can only recommend.

Cons: We were given a tired looking room. The soft furnishings were dated and so was the bathroom which needed a bit of maintenance. The amenities box was stained and dirty with hair. The outside blind was dirty with bird poo. Refer to pictures. Though the breakfast staff was attentive, you could hear them moaning from the kitchen all the way to the breakfast room. Not what you expected from an establishment with 5 stars. The gym is very small and no kettle in the room.

Cons: Probably communication could be much better by the staff. They are quite cold and you have to pay them to give you some info. A case in point is the waiter/restaurant manager which gives you the creeps and you will be counting the minutes till you get out....

Pros: Across the whole hotel you feel comfortable! Bed is realy comfy, communal areas such as hall and bar are really cozy and comfy too. Breakfast is quite good, with good variety, fresh and tasty. The service is impeccable! The staff has been amazingly helpful, chaty, friendly and constantly attentive, going above and beyond to provide the best experience (be it preparing cocktails that are not on the menu, OR calling external attraction companies to book services).

Pros: The staff was so helpful and very nice! Allowed us to leave a bag there for a week before we came back and gave us hot water when we asked for it. We loved our location - right by the river, 10 minutes walk to the center of Courmayeur so not far but also quiet. The veiw of the river is amazing! Once you close the door you can't hear the roaring river. Great value for our money. The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast very nice.
