Pros: The bed was really comfortable with a seating area in the room too. The bathroom was modern, clean and the shower was great. We loved the range of food available for breakfast with home made yogurt and jams. The host was so helpful with suggestions for restaurants and handled the bookings for us. His English was excellent and he provided us with discount vouchers for local attractions.

Pros: Excellent location for visiting the Castels of the Loire. We stayed several times in Lapillebourdiere. The B&B owner changed, but the new owner also does an excellent job. It will remain our favourite place to stay in this region!

Pros: Great location within easy walking distance of centre of village. Very nice, good value, restaurant in village. Our host extended a warm welcome. He went out of his way to suggest which Château we might visit during our short stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. All in all a very pleasant experience

Pros: Top marks go to our room, the breakfast, the parking, the WiFi and mostly, our host. Our room was ultra modern, with a great shower. Lighting was exceptionally good; better then every other place we have stayed. The WiFi connection was simple and the speed was fast. We could stream video and make WiFi calls. The location was quiet, so our windows were open in the evening. As English speakers, our host helped translate with the other guests who spoke French. I felt very welcomed, and at peace with my surroundings. I truly wish that everywhere we stay could meet these standards. BTW, our room, the "Rose", was the size of a studio apartment.

Pros: We felt immediately at home in our family room at 'La Pillebourdiere'. The room was tastefully furnished and offered plenty of space for the whole family including our children (aged 12 and 15). We all liked the setting of 'La Pillebourdiere' and its large garden. The owner was very friendly and helpful and he gave us good recommendations for sightseeing.

Cons: Nothing really but we hit an unusually cool and wet spell in June and the option of a little heating in the bedroom would have been welcome.

Pros: An excellent all-round stay. Everything was exactly as depicted in photos and Mariline could not have been more helpful;without being intrusive! We even received reduced coupons for our visit to Chombard. Slightly off the beaten track it was certainly worth the detour. Manythanks indeed!

Pros: Wonderful accommodations. We booked a two room family suite that was very spacious with a large bathroom and separate toilet. The common area with a kitchen was a nice feature, but we were unable to use it. The host and her dog were very friendly.

Pros: Wonderful accommodations. We booked a two room family suite that was very spacious with a large bathroom and separate toilet. The common area with a kitchen was a nice feature, but we were unable to use it. The host and her dog were very friendly.
Cons: It would have been nice to have some meat or boiled eggs as an option with breakfast. We thought about getting our own and cooking them in the kitchen for the second morning, but we were out too late to stop at the store.
