Behind a lovingly restored and extended building from the Wilhelminian era the Sorat Hotel is a mainstay located in Cottbuss oldtown core. We are one-of-a-kind and welcome guests from near and far. Our 98 guest rooms are cozy and timeless. The reception, the lobby, the bar and the breakfast restaurant are located on the ground floor. Here we have transformed the traditional hotel lobby format by combining these areas into one open, cohesive space with bright marble and dark granite floor. So sip on your favourite beverage after check-in. Start each day off the right way. We invite you to taste local and fresh dishes from our breakfast buffet. Or relax on the summer terrace overlooking the boulevard. You cannot find a more central location than the Sorat in downtown Cottbus. We are kitty-corner to the pedestrian and shopping zone, sights, mediaeval city wall and of course to the Spree river and Branitz landscape.
