Pros (+) That bartenders were fantastic and the liquor selection (especially the scotch & bourbon) was the best I've ever seen.
Cons (-) The main restaurant wasn't open a single night the whole week I was staying at the hotel, only the lounge.

Pros (+) Great location which is only just a few minutes from the main station. The hotel is nice and clean.
Cons (-) Breakfast too noisy with little kids. The surrounding environment of the hotel is a bit rough.

Pros (+) Perfect for exploring the city especially if you come by train. Was 5 minutes walking from the station and the Underground. Also was only 5 minutes from the river for an early morning run.

Cons (-) The fact that I had to pay an extra 7 euros for a "city tax" in Cologne that was not advertised on this website or mentioned at all when we checked in the hotel. That needs to be addressed by either this site or the hotel.
