8,8 Excellent
Pros: The property was well located for our needs and specious. The host was very friendly, welcoming and generous. The fridge was well stocked with food and drinks. More then B&B.
Cons: The whole place was very clean but very outdated. The place needs a good redecoration and some furniture needs to be replaced. For example the kitchen cupboards had some decorative tape on the edges and that was sticking to your fingers when attempting to open a clapboard. That didn’t feel very hygienic.

Pros: We have been well welcomed. At our arrival, the fridge was full of fruits, bacon, eggs, ...

Pros: The cabin was great and had a nice place to sit in the sun and talk with neighbours.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The little house gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling. The location is serene and you really feel the connection with nature here. Also the sound of the creek in the background adds to the "zen" of the place. Hosts were very informative and quick in responding.
Cons: The shower is a little bit tight and needs to go via cold water to get to the right temperature. But that would be it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff welcoming us and giving us tips. Privacy. BBQ. View from the bed that makes you feel like you're lost in woods.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: everything!
Cons: nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Located 25 mins north of Clearwater the cabin is easy to find and ideally located for exploring Wells Grey. Comfy with kitchen and outdoor seating there is also a sofa indoors when it gets cold. Check in/out was easy and the owners are close by and very friendly. Wi-fi is available from the main office nearby and we found the signal worked okay in cabin 3. Lots of information in the cabin on hikes in Wells Grey. Wish we’d planned longer as the park is huge and there is so much to see. In late June we found a a lot of Mosquitos everywhere we went so pack the big spray.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: A very homely place with many friendly animals
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely location and very peaceful
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at Half Moon Guest House for one night was good. We were driving from Vancouver to Jasper and stayed overnight in Clearwater to check out Wells Gray park and break up the drive. Upon arrival we were met by the owner who lives adjacent to the guest house and shown our room. The twin room was spacious with a double bed and a single bed. There was also a shared kitchen, restroom, and living area with other guests. The entire space was very clean and it was a comfortable stay. This was a great value for a hostel-style accommodation and I would recommend it to other travelers.
Cons: The bathroom and shower could have been larger, but otherwise it was a good stay!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: There is a lot of animals, so if you love them that’s a good moment
Cons: Nothing especially
9,2 Excellent
Pros: If you love being surrounded by nature, in a peaceful and beautiful landscape, that's the perfect place for you!!!!

Pros: It’s in a quiet area outside of town. The property has some horses, goats and a beautiful dog.
Cons: We only stayed for one night. Should have stayed longer!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. Absolutely loved the animals especially the very friendly cat!
Cons: There was a bit of a wait for the bathroom, not really a problem though.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else! Friendly staff, relaxing and original location with the horses and goats kept in the garden, a real home feeling...
Cons: Could be a little crowded in the morning with one toilet located in the washroom, shared with 3 bedrooms.

Pros: Location and Cleanliness
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Very clean and comfy homey feel. Defiantly recommend!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The host allowed us to check in a few hours early and that was much appreciated! We were only there for one night as we were in the area for a wedding, so didn’t get much time at the suite but it was very nice and clean.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Well laid out and spotlessly clean, only stayed one night would have been happy here for many more nights.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean, very nice people and well organized! No complaints at all. Would love to return here and recommend it very much!
Cons: Would prefer to have blinds that keep out morr the light (morning) in the bedroom as we are light sleepers. But that is very personal and except for that, everything was absolutely perfect!
8,1 Excellent
Pros: It was warm, comfortable and clean.
Cons: No containers that could be used to cook vegetables in the microwave. I think salt, pepper and oil for cooking should be provided. Better quality towels would have been nice. Could not access Netflix because too many users for the account.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The place was easy to find, clean, and well set up.
Cons: The only negative thing would be the sound proofing between the units isn’t great... not a major issue.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, a really lovely apartment. It was beautifully furnished and equipped. It had air conditioning plus ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The location was lovely and quiet, a 5 minute walk to Dutch Lake (where the Painted Turtle restaurant was great) and just a short drive from the main shops and restaurants. I can't really comment on the staff as we didn't see them but they let us know how to access the apartment easily.
Cons: To be picky, I would have liked instructions for using the coffee maker. We come from England so aren't used to the coffee makers in Canada and I had to look up the manual online. Also 2 light switches actually turned on the air conditioning so I would have liked those to be labelled as I kept turning them on instead of a light. But those problems are probably just me being stupid!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super Nice and clean accomodation. Friendly host. Toys for our son (almost 2 tears old)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean
Cons: No safe and would have preferred a mirror in the bedroom

Pros: Perfect place!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: During our honeymoon road-trip across Canada we were very pleased to make a two-night stop at the Hummingbird B&B. If you’re reading this review you are most likely looking at places to stay in Clearwater for Wells Gray Provincial Park. Coming off the road Clearwater is clearly a small place but that is no bad thing as it has everything you need for hiking and of course has fantastic access to the park. The Hummingbird B&B is a very relaxed place to say the least and is expertly run by it’s proprietress Doris who is the perfect host and was most pleased to welcome us to her lovely property. Our room was a lovely double with private bathroom and direct access to a lounge sitting area. However the main feature of the property is the lovely verandah frequented by the eponymous hummingbirds the B&B is named after framed by Doris’s well tended garden it is a must for anyone who has come off a long road-trip or an extensive hike through the provincial park. In addition to all the above Doris is most happy to give recommendations for local restaurants and sights to see over a home prepared breakfast as part of the room-rate.
Cons: Can you be too relaxed?
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice hice host and room has everything you need.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A special treat was to sit on the veranda overlooking Doris’s beautiful garden while chatting with her and watching the hummingbirds. The room (suite!) was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast included fruit and cereal as well as a cooked meal.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Our room was on the main floor of the house. It was nicely decorated with a big walk in closet that led to the ensuite. Doris was a wonderful host. Decent breakfasts to start your day with eggs and toast, yogurt and fruit along with coffee/tea. The house is close to the main traffic circle for easy access to Wells Gray PP.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We only stayed for one night but can recommend staying longer to explore the park. The host is very friendly, and the neighbourhood is quiet. Take cash as credit cards are not accepted, there is an atm around the corner. The fresh fruit for breakfast was also delicious.
7,5 Good
Pros: Beautifull house and garden. Very nice owner. Eggs in the morning, fresh fruit, yoghurt. Nearby wellsgray park.

Cons: The bathrooms was very small and not that not clean
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Room was newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and amazing view from room. On site restaurant was good and service was friendly.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The humming birds feeding just off the restaurant balcony (End of June), the horses in the paddocks, the peace and quiet and the excellent evening meal in the restaurant (you don't need a starter with the main course portion sizes). The cabins are great, a bit old fashioned but that adds to the special magic of the location. The appearance of a black bear yesterday crown it all for us when we saw it just a little bit up the road towards the Clearwater lake.
Cons: All great.
5,4 Okay
Cons: Paid wifi and paid breakfast were unfortunate.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The setting was beautiful! But.. It was very far from anything. It was a great place if you are looking to go off the grid!
6,7 Good
Pros: If you want to explore Wells Gray park you can't beat the location! The site is also lovely and my room had a great view.
Cons: The room was pretty basic, especially given the hefty (peak season) price. You are paying for the location. Dinner was nice but the breakfast was terrible and expensive. The water (from the taps, the sink, the shower) had a faint rotten-eggs smell the staff told me was sulphur from the well where they get their water. Safe to drink, but certainly unpleasant.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location, setting, log cabins, restaurant, horses, mountain and valley views
Cons: Water in shower could have been warmer
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Access to the park.
Cons: Restaurant food was good but on the expensive side.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good stay, friendly people and great location. In general nice place but way overpriced.
Cons: This place is way overpriced. Room (nr 13) was nice, but not for the money it costs. Food was ok, but still nothing amazing and price was quite high.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, quiet, great location for amazing outdoor adventures

Pros: The restaurant in the building was brilliant with lots of food choices
Cons: Just the hot tub wasn't clean looking
5,4 Okay
Pros: The breakfast wasn't included. The staff was very helpful and the location was OK.
Cons: The facilities are little outdated and the room was very small.
7,9 Good
Pros: Cheep clean
Cons: Little noisy during the day but after supper the highway noise was minimal.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a room at the rear of the hotel and it was very quiet. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The on-site restaurant and bar had a great choice of meals. Very convenient at the start of theroad to Wells Grey Park. Would recommend this hotel.
6,5 Good
Pros: The employees were very nice and pleasant.
Cons: I'm not sure why — if this was a seasonal thing or a Wells Gray Inn thing or what — but we were here in mid-October, when it was just getting very cold, and the place had an infestation of these terrible bugs that looked like crickets but could fly. I first found one in the bathroom and killed it. A little while later I found one in the hotel room, we killed it, and then my brother started looking around and in rapid succession killed 4 more. We added a few more to our total that night and the next morning. My brother said he saw a bunch on the outside of the building the next morning, so whatever it was it wasn't just our room. It's very possible this is just something common in the area and not particular to this hotel, or something seasonal, I'm really not sure. But there it is: we were not pleased.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The desk clerk was so nice and friendly. One of the other staff helped me with my dog cage. I felt safe and secure. Good value for the money. I will stay again. Pet friendly.
6,7 Good
Pros: Convenience, location. Enjoyed the hot tub!
Cons: Patio needed a really good sweeping. Housekeeping forgot to give us a shower curtain. Although pleasant, front desk check in staff not very informative.
5,8 Okay
Cons: Room the size of a closet. Very dated and smelled like deodorant on top of mold
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed rear patio area and location on our trip was superb.
Cons: I didn't find anything to dislike and was satisfied with the wells gray.
2,0 Mediocre
Cons: A dump that offered a rate that was $30 less per night than online. The website indicated it overlooked the lake which was complete bull. A nice hotel across the road did overlook the lake and was $25 less per night. Next time I will pass on these online "deals" and book direct with the hotel. Lots of vacancies so no worries that there will be no rooms.
7,5 Good
Pros: Booked in the new section and was a nice room. Not a full kitchen as was short cutlery. Bed okay, at best. For the King Suite, should have a nicer bed
