The hotel is in front of Millennium Park, so location could not be better. The building has a lot of character. For example, the lobby ("Drawing Room") is both cozy and provocative. There was a water leak in the bathroom ceiling and it was not a new leak based on the black mold growing around it. I told the front desk about it and the answer was “I will take note of it”. I am not one to complain and I was there for only two nights, so I didn’t make a big deal out of it and just placed towels under the leak, but I expected more from Hyatt. Pros (+) Location of hotel was great.
Cons (-) Food was overpriced for what you got. In room dining options were limited with very few light or healthy options. What they did have lacked creativity and freshness. A $40 breakfast should be both. Some staff were very friendly, others were cold and a bit too cool rather than service focused. Walls were thin and I could hear the elevator clunking loudly.

Pros (+) Service is some of the best in the industry. Placing hotels like W, and other botuques, even larger Four Season and that ilk, into the realm of service as imperious paridy. Returning in April with colleagues and clients from around the world for business meetings, fun, and knowledge that great service and an outstanding stay awaits.
