I loved this hotel! It has a boutique feel about it. I booked the deluxe double room which was lovely, it had a little balcony that looked over a little forest where you could hear the birds. The bed was very comfy - perfect after a long day out. The bathroom was lovely complete with shower and bath. The staff cleaned my room very well. The decor was very cute inside the room and around the hotel. I spent a lot of time in the swimming pool on the second floor, it was so peaceful and you could order drinks from the bar and add to your room or pay in cash. I also booked breakfast which was really nice and the staff were very accomodating. I extended my stay for a further 4 nights. In good location - 10 minute walk from Maya shopping centre, night market and Nimman shops/food.
Nothing! Only that I wasn't able to book a further 5 nights due to hotel being fully booked
Friendly staff around the pool area went out of their way to ensure you were comfortable. Cute decor in hotel.
No wifi in rooms (had to be used in pool area) And Breakfast wasn’t good at all the hot food options were cold.
Bit noisy as windows don't close tightly. Can hear dogs and chickens. Breakfast has many choices, but everything is cold.
The room was beautifully decorated. Bathroom was spacious! We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which was very nice. Breakfast was amazing!
There was one member of staff that really went out of her way to help me and tried her best to make my stay a pleasant one. Her name was Beau, I'm unfortunately not sure of the correct spelling, but she said Beau as in beautiful. The hotel does not provide an Iron and ironing board, she actually brought me her steamer from her home so I could get the creases out of my clothes. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The aesthetic of the hotel is very pleasing, with a colonial feel, beautiful tiles, antique furniture and paintings everywhere.
I was initially placed in a room on the 7th floor which is only accessible via a very narrow and dangerous staircase. The room had a very strong smell of fresh paint which was very unpleasant. The shower flooded the bathroom as the drain was not sufficient for the volume of water. The bed is incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The security guard was watching TV during the early hours of the morning, somehow he managed to accidentally play the audio through the hotels speaker system. This meant it was playing in the corridors at 2am. I had go down to reception to let him know. Despite letting the staff know of these issues very little was done in way of an apology. I was given a small plate of fruit and allowed to change room on the second day. Unless you're a fan of cold thai food then breakfast will be a disappointment. Thai food is great but I'm not sure everyone wants it for breakfast and certainly not cold.
