Pros. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and state capitol and museums. The breakfast is billed as a continental but it is a full breakfast buffet including, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, cereals, juices, coffee and breads. The staff was very accommodating and gave excellent information when asked. Room and bed was very comfortable.
Cons. Being an older building, the pipes were a little noisy and the hot water took awhile to get hot.
Pros. Old-fashioned Charm. Staff was cheerfully accommodation with Christmas Day restaurant suggestions and helping with extra pillows and blankets.
Cons. Overuse of Indian head motif. Room was chilly-only a window unit to heat it on a cold Wyoming day. Fan had to blow all night - which made it chilly and noisy.
Pros. I loved the historic building and the location Was quaint and the full hot breakfast was excellent
Cons. the window units made the room drafty
Pros. We really enjoyed the historic feel of the Plains. Our room and bathroom was very large and comfortable. The continental breakfast was fantastic!
Cons. The parking was difficult. There was a loading/unloading area when you first arrived but you had to park on the street or in a distant garage overnight.
Pros. Historic charm and central location to NON-CHAIN restaurants.
Pros. The restaurant staff (hostess and bartender) were great. I'm not sure if they're part of the hotel, but they're the only positive experience I had there.
Cons. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I work in the hospitality industry so it takes a lot for me to say that.
Pros. Overall a decent hotel. It is older, but it has character. Staff was friendly, rooms were comfortable.
