Pros:
Staff very friendly, great location.I will NEVER use Hertz again. I specifically rented a pickup truck. I understand that it says, if they don’t have that pickup, it would be something similar, but they tried to put me in a minivan after I walked in and they told me they haven’t had a pickup truck there in months! Why wouldn’t you call me and tel me that? I had specific needs and requested the pickup truck. The manager, Abby, was rude, and told me, sorry, but it “is what it is”, and offered me the minivan or nothing, and told me to decide if I wanted it or leave! Absolutely terrible customer service.
Hertz was very unprofessional. They called me a few hours before I was scheduled to pick up my reservation and told me they had no cars for me. They didn’t help me find a car at a different location, and I had to call around myself. I spent 2 hours on the phone with them trying to find a car and trying to get them to honor the price I reserved the car at. They were not helpful at all and it was a terrible experience. They were then going to charge me for changing a pickup location (even though they caused this change by not having a car there for me like they were supposed to) and then I had to pay $400 extra in fees and taxes at the new pickup location. When I went to return the car when the rental was complete, I showed up to the door at 7:50 and the man just stared at me and wouldn’t open the door and gave me the “no” finger wave. He then opened the door at 8:02 and all he did was take the key from me and say “you’re all set”. This was an awful experience and I won’t be using hertz ever again.
Cleaner car and better customer service
Great customer service. Rental went off without a hitch.
When i got the the Hertz agency, i was told they had no cars for me, and never offered an alternative solution. Thus, I was stuck 20 miles from my business, with no car, and no alternative solution. Hardly a way to treat a customer
