Easy drop off, alamo on the phone was super helpfulCustomer service at Memphis Airport Alamo was horrendous on pick up day. Rude agents, unable to answer simple questions. No one wearing masks. Instead of being helpful or understanding, they were rude and demeaning.

Nothing.Our flight landed after the location at the airport closed. We though that since we had done online check in we would still be able to pick up our car. We were wrong. When we arrived there was no car for us, no one at the counter who could help us, and even if there had been a car all of the exits were blocked so we wouldn't have been able to get out. We had to call several numbers and wait on hold for over half an hour before getting in touch with the national line. We were told there was nothing they could do for us until the location opened the next day but they would be able to cancel our reservation. The area we were visiting doesn't have other reliable means of transportation so we were stuck in the airport for over 2 hours just trying to find a way to get where we needed to go. They should at least have offered us an Uber/taxi credit but they said they could nothing to help us. We weren't the only travelers in this situation. There were two other individuals on our flight who had booked rentals from Alamo that were also stuck without a car, late at night, stranded at the airport.

Pick up was awful. We had to wait over 2hrs to get a car even though we confirmed it the previous day with the local agent. Drop of was fine.You need to have more cars on the lot or better ways to obtain one if they are not turned in on time which was the case in our instance. We were not offered a reduced rate or anything for our inconvenience. It was an awful experience!

Avis/Kayak lost the reservationAvis had sold out of cars, but had my reservation code allocated to another person. Only after 90 minutes did we rent from Payless next door, and still get an Avis car. Avis was unable to resolve the situation as nobody could figure out how to bypass the computer system to give us a car. The reservation code had my email and info, but was given to another driver. Yet, they couldn't give me a car. Mindless drones that were not empowered to make a decision for a customer.

The second van was a new model.The lie they tell about having what you reserved when paying in advance. The rudeness of the staff. The wait time for picking up our vehicle and the hassle dropping it off. They dont have a problem taking our money. The amount of money that customers pay they should have excellent customer service. We keeping them employed. I paid 500 dollars for nothing but hassle.

I wish I would’ve known what kind of car I was going to get before picking up. I was a little disappointed in the features. The lane departure warning kept making the steering wheel vibrate when I was in the middle of lanes, the radio didn’t have Apple car play so getting around in an unfamiliar area was more difficult.

Unfriendly business practices, friendly staffFriendly and helpful staff.Location does not offer shuttle service from the airport. You must procure your own, at your expense, and they refuse to reimburse. This seems to be a regional corporate decision to not drive business away from the onsite airport offered services, however based on my experience those seem to regularly be overbooked, forcing you to pay for a cab or uber. Absolutely ridiculous. In addition, the car was filthy and reeked of marijuana, which the staff noted before we took the car. We had to buy air fresheners to mask the odor.

The location of the pick up was away from the airport and I was instructed to get an Uber? Once I arrived at the location i was told that they are closed on Monday and would have to pay a $100.00 fee to drop the car off at the airport. I had to schedule with another car company to have transportation not to mention the time and money I lost for an item I had planned for in advance.

Wrong locationNothingI had requested a rental at the airport. Went to the airport desk and was told I was at the wrong location. I asked if I could rent at this location and was told they didn't rent to walk ups. I could not get reception on my cell phone to call enterprise to make a new reservation. The lady behind The desk did not wish to assist me. So we rented from another company at the airport.

It would have been good ...the vehicle was nice and comfortable. The people wasn't too friendlyOkay, my insurance rented me a vehicle there because mine was totaled. I wind up paying for the last week with my debit card. I turned the vehicle in on time with no problems or issues. I go back to rent again a day later and Enterprise ran me thru so problem because I didn't have a bill to show them. They would not let me rent again. I think that was rather petty and I think racism had a part to play in this too. My bank account was still good and I was using the bank issued debit card so why run me thru all of the red-tape ...

Arrived at counter and they had no record of my reservation. Staff rude and not helpful. There were no other cars available to rent! So my husband and I were stranded in Memphis and Oxford for 4 days with no choice but to Uber

Did not have the vehicle that the contract called for and was told a few hours before pickup that the car was waiting. It took 45 minutes for them to prepare the contract. There was a general feeling that they did not know what they were doing. I knew the manager and she was helpful.

Staff are unfriendly. The pick-up is inconvenient and disorganized. There is garbage and standing water all over the parking garage and car rental area. We didn't get the car we booked. We had no assistance with our child seat. The car we picked up was dirty and not in great shape. The overall pick up experience took more than an hour. I hate you all.Y'all need to up your game. You should be ashamed of the way these businesses are ran.

Drop off was smooth other than the fact employee checked out customer who returned car after me first as he was more aggressive to the window.Wait time for car, I reserved in advance, was well over an hour. Then desk staff asked me if I wanted to wait “ for my car” or take a mid size SUV upgrade. I asked if there was a charge, she said yes yet could not tell me how much til she ran my credit card. Then proceeded to tell me it was$11 more for the wkd, and at frustration to just get a car I agreed. My car was not an upgrade as I was to have an intermediate suv like “ a Nissan Rogue”. In fact I got a compact Nissan Kicks which my 6’5” passenger hardly fit. Just irritated that you charged ME extra, Gabe me a smaller car, and could do so because customers are already angry waiting for so long to get out of the airport

I appreciated that I got the vehicle I requested.My truck had no tags on it. My pickup was for 4 pm, but I vwas told that I would have to either go to the airport in the truck with no tags or wait until someone from the airport could bring it. I couldn't believe they asked me to drive a truck with no tags. Eventually some tags were put on the truck and I was on my way.

My vehicle was in the shop so needed a last minute vehicle. It was a good size. After cleaning it we were able to use for exactly what was needed a short vacation.The car was very dirty, it wasn’t vacuumed. I had to dis infect it when I got it home. The windshield was cracked and drips of drinks and what not on the doors and seats. For having to pay $65 per day it was pretty gross.

on time pick up?The van was nice enough.We were scheduled to pick up around 8am. The van wasn't there until after 11am. Then it wasn't clean - granted we told them we were in a hurry and not to worry about cleaning it (seeing as pick up was 3hrs late). Customer service at the pickup location was ridiculously slow and they were unaware folks could be in a hurry.
