I was given a free upgrade car. 2021 GMC. Also I saved an additional 70$ upon arrival. Overall I would recommend kayakCons:
A Gas filled car. Upon arrival they did not have a fueled vehicle ready. I had to refill myself. But at the return of the rental I had the option to bring it back the way I picked it up. So good thing is I didn’t have to refill before drop off.10,0 Wonderful

I was upgraded to a new, larger car. I am usually more interested in fuel efficiency, but it was a good small efficient SUV/sport wagon. When I returned the car within a day + 1 hour, I was charge for this instead of 2 days, I really appreciate that.Cons:
I messed up and booked my reservation to the downtown location instead of the airport. I think getting a more obvious notification of this would be really helpful. The drop-off fee for going from one city to another was a little frustrating, but not too large.2,0 Poor

Very easy. Check-in at the kiosk was quick and pickup of the car was uneventful. The car was nothing special but served its purpose. Dropoff was also quick and easy. All in all a very good experience.Cons:
While the car was in good shape, it showed some signs of having a rough life, which I guess is no surprise. There were scratches in the door opening where it looked like someone had to pry the door open in the past to unlock it, and something (soft drink I bet) had been spilled on the center console that wasn't totally cleaned up, as the parking brake handle was a bit sticky. I cleaned that up. None of that had much of an effect on the experience, but might be worth pointing out.Hertz

I reserved by vehicle for 12pm noon and arrived at 12:05pm to find the location closed. Kayak didn't give me any notification that I would have to arrive earlier than noon if I expected to get a car. It caused a huge logistical headache for my trip and I won't be booking cars through Kayak again.10,0 Wonderful
