Vehicle was dirty -- I had to vacuum and clean the interior before I could use it. Additionally, I had rented a Nissan Pathfinder only to be provided with a Ford Expedition. The Expedition is larger -- as big as a truck. Never again will I use Avis.

Horrible and worst customer service We got snowed in (2ft) the night before the drop-off at 2pm in NY (1/28/22). Long Island declared an emergency and none of the street roads were plowed before the end of snow blizzard (7pm). I called the office 3 times in the morning/noon and no-one picked up (the office was closed). I called the budget center to let them know of the situation. First agent acknowledged the situation, and forwarded me to another agent that handles these types of situations. That agent’s phone reception was horrible, she tried to change headset? and I still could barely hear her and then she disconnected me. I called again, a different agent picked up and said that I will have to pay the fees associated with it and told me that there isn’t a department that handles this despite telling him I was with another agent few mins ago. He put me on hold and hung up. I called 3rd time and a different agent (brandon?) put me on hold and told me he cant do anything. I asked him to put me on with his supervisor and he forwarded immediately and the phone rang until it hung up automatically. All these agents don’t care about providing the service and help they are getting paid to do so. Budget wasted my time and money

All was fine except that they forgot to note that I changed my pickup time to 2 hours earlier. Nobody was there to rent me the car and I had to wait 45 minutes. Backed me up by 1 hour by the time they sanitized the car and I got on the road. Other than that, all was great.

Horrible! I never ended up using them because the care I booked was never available at that site or any site on Long Island. I was left stranded hours before I had to take my son to college. Also when I called to let them know I was on my way to pick up the vehicle I was placed on hold for over 45 minutes. I am glad called and waited on the line because things would’ve been much worse had I hang up. Horrible service to put it mildly.

the drop off location at Reagan airport was awful. No clear directions on how to return the car.....the return location was a maze...and without the kind help from some employees, it would have been impossible to find. All that woud be required is some clear and visible signs.
