Booked a rental to be picked up on Fernandina Beach. Was sent a confirmation with a Fernandina Beach pickup location. When I got there, there was no pickup available , and I was told I needed to go to Jacksonville to pick up my car, at a completely different location. Was treated very rudely, told that the mixup was my fault, because I booked it online. Three hours and a $50 cab ride later, I finally got a car. Treated rudely when I arrived in jaxonville to pick up my car, told I could have picked it up in fernandina, basically that this was my mix up not theirs. Will never rent from hertz again.8,8 Very Good

Allowed us to return vehicle to location 3 miles from our home.Didn't buy extra insurance, 20 miles from home, rock from road cracked windshield. Charged us $150 for windshield replacement(could have been much worse).Cons:
Pickup location was less than ideal ,no computer, had to hand write contract. Hertz has location 3 miles from our home, yet the rental was $100 less at our pickup location 25 miles away.10,0 Wonderful

Something wrong with the car (Chevy Malibu). A LOT of exhaust came into the passenger compartment when the car was stopped or idling. Notified payless when we dropped off the car, but attendants did not seem to care and I doubt they wrote the vehicle up for maintenance.6,8 Okay

No one felt the need to share with me that I couldn't rent with my Visa debit. I get to the airport to pick up my rental just to be told you have to use a major credit card. I was told I am sorry and there is nothing I could do the day of my trip. I reserved the vehicle in February and was disappointed and embarrassed in July. Never again.10,0 Wonderful

Pros:
We ended up having a screw in our tire. The lady on the phone was wonderful. She advised us to go to the enterprise car rental in Brunswick Georgia. The workers there were amazing. They had us to the tire place in minutes. The tire place changed the tire for us after enterprise guy talked to him. All took under an hour. Very impressive!😊Classique Car Rentals
