Cons:
After reserving a car on Kayak.com from Enterprise, I promptly ordered a cab from my condo to go pick it up. As this is quite a rural area, it took the cab 20 or so minutes to arrive. While driving to the rental car location, I received a call from a local area code so I picked up. The rude woman on the phone told me they did not have a car. I told her I had reserved a car and was already on my way. She explained in a curt and nasty manner that they require 2 hour notice for reservations. To which I told her I was unaware because there was nothing listed on the Kayak website when I booked or in the confirmation email received shortly after. At this point, she started yelling at me about their policy and how Kayak is a third party and driver's need to abide by their specific policies and I need to do research before reserving a car next time. I asked how long she thought it might be and if I could sit and wait at the the pickup location and without reply, she transfered me to the location. A kinder gentleman told me they had no expected timeframe for how long it would be. I asked him to cancel my reservation. I promptly called a Hertz location nearby and picked up another car within the hour. Will NEVER rent from Enterprise again. Further, KAYAK needs to work with their providers to ensure they deliver customers accurate information about reservation policies etc.Hertz

Of course, I got a great deal through Kayak and hertz but I got a dink in the windshield and had to pay $75 for the repair which blew my cost savings.10,0 Wonderful

They tried to give us a car with bald tires in the front and "insisted" they were safe. After an altercation they finally gave us another car. However this car was much smaller and we were barely able to fit our suitcases. This experience was horrible.Thrifty

Honestly didnt like anything about our experience from the car to the staff. Overall unprofessional. My spouse and I rented a vehicle in early June to travel from SC to NJ and back. A couple of hours into our trip a huge roach, the kind that fly was crawling on my foot. I freaked out and this could of potentially been dangerous, good thing I wasn't driving. That made us worry about our luggage in the trunk as we didnt want roaches infesting our belongings. On our way up to New Jersey there was no way for us to pay cash for our tolls due to covid and we were forced to go through the EZ Pass. We immediately call Thrifty to notify them and were told we'd have to pay the tolls online for every state we went through a toll. When we tried to pay online through the state,we didnt have an invoice number that was require to pay the toll. That we needed from thrifty. We called thrifty again only to have our account noted. Now several months later we're being charged $90.00 in toll and penalty. When I called again to speak to the Manager Jessica I was given an attitude over the phone and was told that it was my responsibility to pay the tolls despite our multiple attempts to make the payment, which now include a penalty fee. I was also hung up on and when I called back and asked to speak to the Manager Jessica again I was sidelined. I travel to NJ once a month for work, we rent vehicles and fly often. This by far has been my worst experience ever dealing with any kind of customer service agents.Cons:

Front desk person on the day of arrival was rude as could be. My ID was having trouble scanning but She did not work towards a solution, basically telling me to f#%^ off, leaving me without a rental car for the entire week. Was not a fun week.2,0 Poor

Terrible customer service. We have amazing credit and extensive history, but we were RUDELY told we didn’t have enough credit history when we arrived even though we can see they didn’t pull our credit. We were able to make a reservation without credit questions. We had to sit there stranded with our one year old with no way to get to our hotel because we didn’t even have a car seat (since we were going to get one from them) and no one else had cars. We never ended up getting a car from Thrifty even after paying for insurance through a 3rd party. We assumed there may not have been a car for us, because we can clearly see she never pulled our credit.7,6 Good
