I was never informed that the drop off in Mooresville was during business hours so I had to travel 20+ miles to find the office was closed. Very inconvenient that I had to return the next day.Cons:

Budget was great. They gave us an upgraded vehicle at no extra charge and everything went very smoothly from check-in to return.Cons:
KAYAK!! I had requested a reservation from BTV (Burlington) and when I received my confirmation email, I noticed that you had made me a reservation from a different airport in upstate New York! That would have been useless, so I had to call Budget directly to modify the reservation which eliminated any price advantage I had received through Kayak.10,0 Excellent

Prices at the small airport in Plattsburgh NY are higher in general than at at larger nearby airports. Only one employee which could be a problem if others were renting at the same time.4,4 Okay

I do not like that they make the rentals for every 24 hours. It doesn't work realistically for renting a vehicle (especially when you're paying for 3 days but only get it for exactly 48 hours). I will not be using dollar again. Also, a $200 hold is a little excessive. I've had $100 held before, but $200 is a little ridiculous. Because of the way they do the time for pick-up and drop-off, it was very hard to schedule for when I actually needed the car and they wouldn't work with me.9,2 Excellent

It was so hard to get to talk to anyone because of phone problems at Hertz.. When we returned the car during regular business hours, it would have been good to get to talk to someone and know the exact final charge for the car rental. However, the final charge was exactly what we expected.7,6 Good
