Pros: The staff was easy to work with and helpful.Cons: Someone had smoked in the car. The waiver I purchased was not from a third party, not what I wanted. I shortened the rental, but did not get a refund of the waiver for the days I did not use. The smoking smell of the vehicle was pretty bad.

Good folks, good value, nasty vehicle!Pros: Really nice personnel. Good value.Cons: The car was nasty. It smelled like an ashtray even though there are "no smoking" signs in the car. There were two cigarette butts in the floorboard so I know they did not vacuum the vehicle and I had to stop and get glass cleaner so my wife could see out of her side of the windshield.

Pros: I liked when this horrible ordeal was over...NEVER AGAIN. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS!!!Cons: I booked online with Kayak and had two other adults present as we verified the pickup/drop-off locations, amount, etc. I then received a confirmation email. The email had the wrong drop off location. I started by calling the pick-up location and learned that they had NO vehicles at that location. I then had to run to two other locations including the Atlanta airport and a hotel in downtown Atlanta to finally a get a car, but not what I rented. They also tried to turn the $255 rental into an over $1000 rental. Interestingly, I booked this with Kayak, the paperwork confirmation email said Expedia, and the car was of course, from AVIS....and each of these crooks tried to blame the other and did nothing to remedy this complete failure on their part. Two different counter clerks said that they hear this all the time as the online booking companies over-book available inventory. Classic "Bait and Switch" deceptive business practices. They simply left all the burden on the shoulders of the consumer. Complete circus.
Hertz was horriblePros: I like the car - Kia OptimaCons: Hertz customer service is horrible. I had a flat on the morning after I picked the car up. No biggie, I had it changed. I found a dent within anhour of picking up car so I called and left a message. No return phone call. I had a brake light go out on Wednesday - went to Hertz; no exchange; sent me to a Firestone to have it fixed. Within 24 hours, it was out again. I sent email complaint to Hertz on 6/26. Still haven't heard from them. I will NEVER rent from Hertz again!

Uninformed and pushyPros: Nice carCons: Pick-up was not knowledgable of my purchase and tried to sell me insurance I already had, saying the same insurance bought from them at a higher price was better. Plus, did not know I had put a credit card on the account, even when it was on the paperwork.
