Kayak let me book a Hertz rental at Santa Rosa airport which does not have a hertz location. It’s been closed for a few months. I had to go to the Santa Rosa Avenue location instead. This caused a hiccup in my entire travel plans.Avis

I made a reservation for 5 pm for a location but even though i got the confirmation # they closed before i got there. On phone I've been told to go to airport location cuz the car is ready for me. Over there the guy didn't want to give me any car saying he doesn't have. After 1h fighting he gave me a smaller car for a bigger price. Just beautiful9,6 Wonderful

We rented the car - went to pick it up and he said he didn't have a reservation under my name. Showed him the reservation receipt email - he then said I don't have a car available. Then something came up where he thought he had one - with a cracked windshield. He said he'd give us a discount. Tried to rent that one out but there was a hold on it. He said ok, I can get another car let me have your card. I had my debit card. Said it wouldn't pass the credit check. He said my credit must be bad. !!! My husband tried his - same thing. We don't have credit cards. We have rented numerous times with our debit cards, never with an issue. I have now been charged for the insurance. This car rental was for a very important occasion.
